  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah it’s been optimism for some people but nothing but pain for others. I am in the latter group.
  3. Trade deadline is over but the titans released safety quandre Diggs. 64 pff grade and available to sign anywhere.
  4. Didn’t Deangelo Williams score 4 Touchdowns on us in 2008?
  5. You're getting the exact opposite here, Delhomme was a great QB and the perfect QB for that team. The Fox offense has a stereotype of being conservative, but it was actually very much a big-chunk offense. We'd gash teams with the run and throw massive chunk plays downfield - it was closer to an Air Coryell than to power run. Delhomme had a great arm and his ability to throw downfield opened up the running game - and vice versa. Jake actually led the entire league in yards per completion in 2008. Unfortunately his arm that year only lasted 16 games. In hindsight, but there was really no reason to at the time. Jake was having a very, very strong season in 2007 before he got hurt. We brought in David Carr in 2007 to compete and he was awful. Extending Jake in 2009 was clearly the wrong move.
  6. And took the Rams offer for Burns and kept DJ Moore and not traded away the world for Bryce?
  7. Today
  8. That’s pretty funny. If I remember right that was a Sunday night or Monday night game so I was in bed and missed the 2nd half.
  9. I agree but he would probably want more. 3 is the compromise
  10. It’s incredibly powerful in software development. It’s basically a workhorse and a force multiplier if you know how to direct it.
  11. I assume this is the precursor to Brooks being jettisoned in the offseason.
  12. Don't ask AI. That's a worse list than you posted.
  13. I only saw him play once and he kept hesitating and getting hit in the backfield. I think the Dallas line was just ass and didn’t give him as much time as he needs to do his thing.
  14. It's fun to play around with, but for genuine practical stuff...yeah, let's just say I won't be worrying about the SkyNet takeover anytime soon
  15. A phenomenal pre-draft workout helped his case a lot.
  16. Don't we wish If we do indeed get to the playoffs, maybe even win our first game or something like that, then short of a Jake vs the Cardinals type debacle, moving on from Bryce becomes a hard sell to players...and the pro-Bryce elements of the fanbase. (which does indeed exist)
  17. Luke Kuechly got pissed because his position coach got fired. Didn't result in any issues but he said it was an adjustment.
  18. Keeping post Tommy John Delhomme was a mistake, but one that a lot of players agreed with.
  19. I don't think it's guaranteed they see Bryce the way we do. But whatever they think, don't doubt that it will be taken into account.
  20. Saints - I see a win here. Kamara has been banged up, their speed is gone with Shaheed, Shough is a rookie. They could pull it off if their D holds us under 15. Falcons - Falcons have been a pure hot/cold team this year. Beating the Bills and getting swamped by our squad. There's a a chance they fire back on their home turf. Toss up. 49ers - I think this is winnable depending on Purdy/Pearsall. They've been rotating through injuries nearly every week. Minus a very healthy CMC this year. Another toss up. Rams - Rams are damn good but they're a team that can be caught in off weeks. Although, I don't see that happening. Not the best matchup for us. Saints V.2 - Another winnable Bucs - Division, anything is possible Seahawks - If they continue playing this way, could be ugly. Bucs - Division battle but they could have it wrapped up by this point and could be a W. - I see 3 games that I have a very hard time seeing us win (Seahawks 1 of the Bucs, and the Rams) That makes best case, a 10-7 season possible. Probably not enough for the playoff given the NFC this year. A reasonable expectation is 3 wins from this bunch and we end up 8-9. Would hate to see 7-10 or worse. We're trending up and have guys that are improving.
  21. Give him this week off. Last thing we need is to have our stud rookie WR having chronic hamstring issues. Every time you tweak a hammy, you’re a lot more prone to another injury reoccurring.
