  1. Past hour
  2. Well yes of course TMac was awarded that award. Give Bryce however much of the credit for that that suits you. I said that I believe he would have been even more productive with a better QB throwing him the ball. And writing this brings to mind, it took him what seemed like forever to get his first TD.
  3. The family is telling the school to keep Hubert. The only family guy that even slightly makes sense would be Sean May and the school absolutely can't make that move right now.. That said, I think Sean May absolutely has a shot at the job because the school is worried about money and fielding a team good enough if they go after a good coach.
  4. He's on the roster with the idea that he will play at some point. He's another tackle. For better or worse. What I want is to not draft a backup tackle when we need skill players and DT and safety. Either way adding a premium pick for a what if walker gets hurt situation doesn't seem like a smart move. If walker gets hurt like most teams starting tackle you look at secondary markets trades and hell maybe a 3-4th round pick. Not drafting a what if he gets hurt in the first.
  5. He most definitely doesn't have a cannon. I'd say maybe slightly above average (and that might be a stretch). I do think he has good touch on his throws and did a pretty good job throwing with anticipation to a bunch of JAG receivers Baylor had. His mechanics probably need to be rebuilt - footwork is god awful on many of his throws. His peak is a reliable QB2, his floor is never being heard from again in a few years
  6. None of the scouting reports ive seen question his arm strength, in fact they all say hes got a cannon, now his mechanics and footwork? Awful.
  7. Hes projected 4-6 so completely possible.... wouldnt mind it anywhere 5th or later hes got physical talent and we could use a developmental QB
  8. Size, Good speed (enough to be a duel threat at 4.6) physical talent. I'd throw a 5th at him to develope.
  9. It means not reaching for a NEED, it doesnt mean you have to take the consensus bpa, you take the BPA that could upgrade your team even if its not a DIRE need.
  10. I agree but I could see it happening with how much money they have poured on the defensive side.
  11. I'd add that last season wasn't a realistic opportunity to have success passing due to the youth at WR and TE. The only high pedigree player in that group ended up being ROY. QB had to have something to do with that, right?
  12. Today
  13. Hopefully not at all. His wind up is crazy, he isn't particularly great in the pocket, and his arm strength is questionable at best. A guy I REALLY hope we are interested in is Cole Payton. He needs some work, but this kid has tools.
  14. How did you turn this into a Bryce Young slam post? This was meant to highlight our former GM's inadequacies at his position. This also highlights how Bryce barely had talent around him the first 2 seasons. We finally acquired average talent on the team and suddenly we're a playoff team. Coincidence?
  15. OT (injured, may never return to form which really wasn't that goog to begin with) QB (still figuring out if he's a franchise QB - though he finished the season well, last chance this season) QB (not even our pick)+WR (the worst 1st round WR in some time) WR (Hit) If they had hit on at least 2 of the 4 then they wouldn't need to draft another offensive player.
  16. Maybe day 1 better but Green has a lot more upside. I feel like the guys listed after Green have a low ceiling and are destined to be backups.
  17. The only way to guarantee we get him is to trade up to #1 overall.
  18. I don’t understand the infatuation with Green. Robertson is a much better QB
