We've used a 1st or 2nd rounder on a receiver in 4 of the last 5 drafts. 7 of our 9 1st and 2nd rounders in that time were on offense and that doesn't count all the extra picks given up for Bryce. Let's spend some draft capital on defense for a change.

I know people hate one him but he’s not that bad. I could be wrong but didn’t he play a lot better during the second half of the year? still he’s a vet with this system/staff and is better to have him than some unproven rookie. We can still give Ransome a chance and may draft or sign a safety but he’s an okay starter and at worst good depth piece.

I agree, if we are going to drop out of the first round this year, I'd like a 1st next year. It would put us in a pretty good position to get any player we wanted in 2027, especially if BY doesn't take the next step on this team.

How many high level passing games did he produce last season? What is your number? I am going to say it wasn’t enough using my standards, and was a low enough number that he needs to more than double it. I’d just be curious to see what your baseline is. I might be able to hold up 5 fingers. Give or take. He had good games vs the Rams secondary but you see what they thought of their secondary. They signed the poo out of new people as fast as they could. Atlanta one killer game. I can’t say the first game was much. But maybe. Dallas was a real nice win I thought he played well. I go through them and there just aren’t that many. Even if you get to 7 that you think show he deserves the contract if that is his norm, his standard that he will give us, there is a long way to go. I feel like every game needs to have us expecting excellence. Above average. You can’t be perfect so missing a couple is okay but not like, 10.

I know he played very little due to an injury. He's a huge man and hopefully no injuries this coming season. He could really be a factor if he can get some good reps. We definitely need some depth at interior D-line. Thoughts?

I hope that Horn Jr. really takes off this year. A lot of learning his rookie season. Hopefully we can find a way to get him the ball in open spaces.

I've watched enough BY Panther games to know he ain't it regardless of whatever PFF numbers ppl look at. Drafting a non-inline TE isn't going to help. You obviously feel different but until we get a legit QB I don't see spending another 1st rd pick on a weapon that his limitations won't be able to utilize properly. This team with sure will and some luck got us to the playoffs not QB play by far. People have quickly forgotten this obviously
