I have solved the mystery. First, the Panthers posted the claw marks. NOW, Charlotte FC tweeted the thunderstorm emoji and folks are doing the same what does it mean thing. Answer is simple. Ripped up material + thunderstorms = new concert series coming to BOA. Cher is opening up for AC/DC! #artificialturfforthewin!

Kinda like the metallic/matte finish that some teams have gone with recently on the other hand, while I like the 70's movie Rollerball, the number style from that film doesn't hold up for today. Hope we're not going down that path

I am fine with either personally, hope this is the way it goes. Passing on Bailey if he is there is really risky with his ridiculous upside but the Hornets need high floor guys that can play now

I do think updated uniforms are happening one way or another within the next few years. But I would say we should hope for more of a tweak here and there versus new uniforms from top to bottom. The track record for teams that underwent a complete uniform refresh seems to be either underwhelming or outright trash looking back the last decade or two.

New uniforms would’ve been announced before the draft so that the rookie can take all his pictures with them. There’s zero chance it’s brand a new uniform. I also remember seeing somewhere that Tepper and co like the current sets and plan to make very minimal changes if needed, hence why we’ve been playing around with the jersey and pant combos.

We don't wear the blacks until the last 1/3 of the season anyways. And even then it's only certain games. It might as well be an alternate.

I feel like new unis would've leaked by now, or at the very least we'd know they were coming. This is probably something small.

all you have to do is squint and our throwbacks are the same unis. I wish they would have been more bold when they "remade" the Panther logo.

To me, if you have a fondness for a player because you have history with that player (Evero, Simmons in this case) it is not necessarily a good thing. Could it mean the DC has limited knowledge of players he has not coached? Could his mind be thinking 28-year -old Simmons when 31 year-old Simmons is trending downward. I dunno. I think they want to see what Richardson and Ransom can do. Maybe the saw things they did not like and have already decided to bring in a vet on a one-year deal. I am just not that confident about Evero right now. To me, his love for small NTs got exploited last year and hurt us a lot.

Would make sense. They've been selling the white helmet for a couple of years now. Same as the black helmet. It was for sell for a year+...then announced as a new uniform combo. Silver is gone, white & black are in. Silver and the OG logo become our throwback uniform.

probably. new blue jersey as the default away and the surprise addition of the white helmet coming. Morgan had to get that little white helmet on his desk from somewhere.
