    We're all speculating here on what "development" really entails but I think most teams do. It's a QB room. When Cam was our clear #1 they all learned and practiced together and often helped each other along. The way Rhule practically ignored Corral after Baker arrived is not normal. They didn't even prepare to kid to be a backup let alone possibly start.

    I don't think it changes much either way. He's a longshot and will have to show out in camp for a role regardless. Don't let the last staff fool you, more than one QB can be developed at a time.

    Rivera and Fox even. Considerably less smoke and mirrors with this staff which tells me they're confident in what they have.

    I'm only ok with a luxury vet if they're both gone before us. Even then, I feel like we may as well roll the dice on the AR project if we're willing to gamble on Lamar's health.

    He'd agree with you. In this same interview he says his biggest regret was how he treated his teammates. He's upfront about maturity issues as a player. It's something he's overcome only just recently. Honestly one of the cooler character redemption stories in sports.

    Maybe but both could be true too. He says release but he's talking about a trade request. He probably didn't expect to be let go after deciding against it. Either way, knowing Smith had a foot out the door redeems the move and Gettleman a lot in my eyes.

    This interview was shared a few weeks ago. Idk if this a new clip or it was just missed, but Steve squashes the myth that he was suddenly dropped by the Panthers. Says he asked for a release and even talked to other GMs.

    With Mark and Nick coming along we can give up the dream of Kai at center, just play him behind PJ at the 4 instead of Thor. He drew the short straw with the Clifford hire because he's nothing like the traditional bigs dude loves.

    Yeah my answer depends on the staff's board. I don't want them trading up to 1 to get Levis but if they feel strongly about Young or Stroud they should. If they're good with Levis or Richardson just hold at 9 and see how it falls.

Composure under pressure and ability to scramble out of it is very encouraging in light of the size concerns Thinks the gap between Young and Stroud is not as wide as advertised. Highest floor of the top QBs Levis has an elite cannon that keeps defenses honest. Reads well but questionable decision making.

    The Corral fan club here is greatly exaggerated. No one's saying crown the guy (maybe rippadonn, but I think he's just having fun with y'all now), we're responding to the fans who act like we've seen enough of him to draw conclusions already.
