    Only reason to do it now is if he takes less based on current actual value. If he is going to demand top 5 money (which he’s not worth), just wait till Next season and tag him.

    Shaq had 135 tackles last year, ranked 12th in the nfl in solo tackles, and had a pff grade of 72. He’s a good player. those same people on here claiming Shaq isn’t good are the same ones claiming Perryman is all pro

    I have a feeling we will go after Hardman aggressively. Reich said before he wants speed at WR. Hardman is young and fast, and a great route runner with a crazy ypc. Add Hardman and a pass catching TE like Shultz or Mike G and this offense is dangerous. Throw in a true pass catching back like Williams or Sanders and look out!

    Also - don’t rule out an “extension” with nothing but voidable years just to spread the cap hit out but still give him his money. Prob a last resort but not entirely unlikely

    Just said on espn that Jackson’s camp reporting that the Ravens best offer was 139M guaranteed. If that’s true then I’d agree that’s low compared to the other top 5 QB contracts out there.

    Maybe he doesn’t. But sitting out hasn’t worked out well for players in the past. He may very well have to take less than what the Ravens have previously offered

    Well - they went from an offer of 49M a year to a tag worth 32M a year. So I’d say yes

    He doesn’t deserve a fully guaranteed contract. That being said, we are stupid if we aren’t calling and offering 45M per year with at least half the total contract guaranteed. Sure, the Ravens would likely match the offer. But you gotta friggin try. Jackson makes this a team that can compete for a SB next season

    Thomas could be our post June 1 cut this year. That contract was absurd - the structure was good, the contact value was just terrible
