  1. I legitimately do not know what he does well as an NFL head coach. Can anyone tell me? From what I can see he’s a smooth talker who grifted a naive new owner into giving him a ridiculous contract with little to back it up. He had 1 season of NFL experience prior to being hired as an NFL head coach, as an assistant position coach no less. Not a coordinator, not even a position coach, an assistant position coach. He never beat a ranked team as head coach at Baylor, and beat one at Temple (and it was ECU which doesn’t really count) What has Rhule done to deserve to be where he is? “Rebuild” the Baylor program? They didn’t beat a ranked team while he was there! It is no surprise the Panthers have struggled since he arrived. It’s going to be another rough season. The schedule is harder than last year and I don’t see this team pulling out a miracle season. If he is the head coach next year, without a playoff appearance in 2022, I might just give up on this team until he’s gone.
  2. Can’t tell, they barely play the starters
  3. I mean for real can we hit on a late round draft pick
  4. I can’t believe a guy who said that is still on the roster
  5. if anyone thinks he's the only trainer who has done this in the NFL boy are you in for a surprise
  6. Tackle play should be much better this season but that interior especially the LG and C could be rough unless Bozeman gets healthy and Christensen pans out at LG.
  7. I was in high school and I farted out my weener I was so excited when he scored
  8. Rivera is playing for an owner who might legitimately end up in jail so I don't think he gives a sh*t he's just doing what it takes to win at this point. No pressure hahahha
  9. Saints traded him to the Jaguars in the offseason and from what I could see he had a good season for the Saints last season. Jags seem to have a glut of young DTs they like better. So I'm not sure, he might just be a numbers/money cut, or maybe he just isn't cutting it. Either way, Panthers interior line isn't great and this would be a huge move to shore up the run defense.
  10. Yea I think the fact he's not in a training camp this year is pretty telling. I mean if they have the roster space I don't think it hurts to give him a tryout, the TE's they have aren't exactly lighting the world on fire, but I wouldn't expect much.
  11. I think waivers is only for players who are under 4 years of NFL experience
  12. https://sports.yahoo.com/malcom-brown-released-jacksonville-jaguars-001129130.html Here's a signing I can get behind. Big help in the run defense.
  13. I have this feeling CJ Henderson might look better in camp and worse in games but, I am holding out hope he turns out to a good player. Would be a big win for Fitterer and Rhule of which there are not many.
  14. I’ve seen it mentioned that they did the “competition” because Sam is well liked by some of the players including our favorite meathead Christian McCaffrey.
  15. https://theathletic.com/3518394/2022/08/17/carolina-panthers-baker-mayfield-starter/?source=user_shared_article in other news water is wet
  16. Didn’t even know he was still playing, guess he is a FA.
  17. I mean if you're gonna roll out your best players against the Patriots defense, you gotta use common sense. Belichick owns Darnold. Even Matt Rhule isn't that dumb, at least it appears that way.
  18. perfect scenario would be Burns putting Mac Jones in a body bag and SS89 telling him to ice up.
  19. I know they all do the drills it's just who he's going up against. Myers is their #2 WR. Dawson is probably the 7th or 8th corner. Doesn't make sense to me sending a camp body up against their starters.
  20. I watched the highlights I was traveling during the game. I didn't really register which backups have an INT, dude isn't making the roster obv
  21. so looks like the coaching staff isn't taking these drills seriously sending out some recently signed nobody who is getting worked
  22. Put SS89 in pads for one practice and he'd probably still be the best receiver on the field.
