Good lord if they could kill a penalty and at least muster a semblance of an attack on every power play they’d be contending for a championship this year. That PK is atrocious. At least the full strength defense is playoff caliber and the goaltending has been very good by both goalies. I thought Mrazek showed his experience tonight.

Big win tonight stole a game in Tampa just like the lightning did in Raleigh. Team didn’t play their best and still won. Going to get more chippy as the series continues. Hope they can get some guys healthy and back out there because they are super thin right now.

It was 0. No scoring chances at all they barely spent any time in the Tampa zone. Absolutely terrible maybe one of the worst power plays I’ve ever seen and I’ve watched a lot of hockey in my life

Burns has an excellent chance to have 10+ sacks if he stays healthy. The only thing missing from the defense is a true stud MLB, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's a target early in the draft next offseason. Perryman is a stop gap.

They need to sign some veteran FAs who have been there and done that. You look at all the contenders and they have a few older guys gunning for a last chance at the cup. Carolina has none of that. Corey Perry would have been a good signing.
