With Ben Johnson out the door and this epic choke job I’m not so sure about that.
-
100%. Lions may not bounce back from this
-
Passing on the field goals was a bigger mistake
-
Unbelievably stupid decisions by Detroit at critical moments
-
Detroit lost this game because of 2 unnecessary 4th down gambles
-
If he outduels Mahomes in the Super Bowl then Cam was wrong
-
Game over. Man I feel bad for those lions fans. They had this game won
-
Should be 30-27. Those 4th down calls were dumb
-
Lions defense finally got to Purdy.
-
I think we’ve all seen that kinda football before
-
This game is over. Damn lions you had them dead to rights and you f*cked it up
-
Lions have to answer or this is going to get ugly
-
Welp I guess we forgot that Detroit is just as cursed as the Panthers if not more so. Big mistake not taking points on that 4th down pass play

Tony Pauline: Campen was Tepper's "eyes and ears"
hepcat replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe the o line sucked because campen spent too much time ratting info to Tepper and sniffing footballs -
Will come down to the Lions defense slowing down Mahomes.
-
Fitterer should have been fired directly into hell for rejecting that trade
-
He has two sacks in the first half
-
You ain’t wrong but the Lions have been out scheming them from the first drive
-
Ben Johnson might cost Wilks his job at this rate
-
Wrong question…. Why would an offensive genius like Ben Johnson want to work for a garbage franchise owned by a person like David Tepper?
-
Taking his lunch money. Wilks can’t get pressure with 4 and they’re playing soft
-
This defense getting absolutely abused right now. Steve Wilks can’t get pressure with 4 and Detroit is making them pay.
-
Go Lions cat bros for life. Go get that first cat team Super Bowl title

It is Canales decision to keep Evero, so be it. But it’s clearly a decision coming from Tepper. I just think holdovers from a previous staff are risky, even successful ones.

The staff Canales hires is going to make or break his tenure. That's true for all head coaches and especially first time head coaches, but it's even more true for Canales in a very rough Panthers organization that has had dissension, division, backstabbing, bad vibes, just overall a dumpster fire caused by a bad owner. Canales will need to surround himself with people he trusts and knows. He will need resilient personalities that tell him the truth. And he will need to be insulated from David Tepper's meddling. I don't love the fact they are keeping Evero without interviewing any candidates Canales might want to hire. He needs to be responsible for his whole staff, not just the offense. He is head coach of the entire team. I have this bad feeling that if Evero is retained, and the offense continues to struggle, it's just going to be a repeat of the 2023 season.
