  1. Young decided to not do any physical drills or throw at the combine. He was 100% healthy. Smart on him and his camp.
  2. Same. And yes…we are insane my friend.
  3. The other quarterbacks mentioned can throw anywhere on the field though. I wish durability was still the question, and not lack of arm talent. Our luck, he’ll be the most durable QB we’ve ever had.
  4. Like I get the arguments defending Bryce. Line has been poo. Route concepts are predictable, etc. But Young has a noodle. He’s a mediocre athlete, and probably a poor athlete relative to size. He’s also not a “maestro” in any way so far. We spent number 1 on a guy that can’t do all the NFL QB things. Coaches will have to remove plays because he literally can’t execute them because of his lack of raw talent. I can’t believe the evaluators couldn’t see this in person. Literally anyone can get overwhelmed and swept up in the hype machine.
  5. I’d Rosen his ass without a second thought. Test that “consensus number 1” hypothesis. If true, we could get at least a 2nd. Doubt we could get that though.
  6. Last season, this would have been poo’d once per minute. So far you have 1 poo in 8 minutes. Says more about Bryce than Darnold honestly.
  7. But Tepper doesn’t have a “quick hook problem.” I mean if anything he kept Rhule too long. He showed plenty of patience there. Reich won 1 game this season, and the team wasn’t showing any upward progress. Not sure why this is shocking. Butthurt coaches and reporters can talk poo, but this firing isn’t a toxic one at all, and not the red flag everyone says it is. There are plenty of other things to be upset with Tepper about, but having a short leash isn’t one of them.
  8. Like I don’t blame him for making a business decision with our franchise floundering, but to fix the team culture, you need guys who actively aren’t making that business decision, but instead show toughness and team first behavior. It’s a pickle. And I’m assuming so perhaps he really is still hurt. I hope he’s sincere but you can never tell.
  9. I’m reading into it, but this quote seems like a PR way to make a “business decision.” I love Horn and have had his back, but if he’s able to play but is skating bye, then I don’t want that on the team.
  10. If we are playing this game, the real retread we missed out on was Mike McCarthy.
  11. All I know is we at least get a chance to see (potentially) something different down the stretch. The team radically changed with an interim last season, so it could always happen again. Perhaps Young/Mingo/etc have been grossly misused this season, and actually have redeemable qualities. I hate saying this because somehow this organization keeps finding a new bottom…but it surely can’t get worse this time…right?
  12. You have a low bar for “matrix” then.
  13. Every coaching thread this year will basically be “he won’t come here because Tepper ruined it” vs. “there’s only 32 HC jobs/Tepper make him rich”.
  14. Y’all remember “RPO bad” regarding Corral last draft?
  15. Chubba is noticeably better. He’s bigger. Runs with more power/aggression. His hands have stood out to me too. However the stats of a back are so heavily influenced by the performance of the line, and that line has been NOTICEABLY worse. I really hope it is a scheme mismatch. Otherwise, we are much more screwed if everyone just overachieved last season.
  16. Everyone is a fan of him playing well. But he’s not playing well.
  17. I am! I'd love to be proven wrong. I won’t be though. But please. I want to enjoy football again. Bryce is just so physically underwhelming.
  18. Media loves Bryce. Takes Tepper from local, to National ridicule.
  19. Some dude said it might be “4-5 years until the light turns on.” Fade me and move the team. Either order. Imagine being so delusional to think that’s acceptable.
  20. I’d bench Bryce if they brought Eason back. They probably cut Eason because you can’t have a PS guy making the “franchise QB” arm look that bad in comparison.
  21. To explain why it doesn’t matter. Thought that was clear. Cam contributed to his team getting better. Bryce contributed to his team getting worse. Now that’s something that isn’t debatable.
  22. I went from hating most of your posts to basically pie’ing every post now. Watching Bryce will change a fella.
  23. I’m not reading 9 pages…but this sounds like a “Cam had a better team” argument. Just stop. Doesn’t matter. Cam immediately made it clear he not only belonged, but could be a dominate player in the NFL. He would have done likewise as a rookie on this team. Has little to do with wins and stats. It’s about the ability the player flashes independently. Bryce has had a max of a handful of plays if we are being generous, but I can only think of one throw to Theilen off the top of my head. Cam showed you every game. Even his shitty games. Bryce struggles to get 150 yards. Cam sleep walks past 150 yards. Let’s stop disrespecting Cam.
