It feels a bit disingenuous to name stadium renovations the worst development deal of the year. I mean, who else was in the category, a QuikTrip? a new McDonald's? New stadiums and renovations are in a class by themselves. They are always going to be subsidized because there's always another local government willing to court their tax dollars. This is just how things are done in professional sports.

Dave spent a lot of time and energy trying to get Evero on board this season; he could have easily left. I think that effort alone deserves some commitment. That being said, this defense is performing poorly, and I wouldn't be shocked if Evero were to get fired.

Yeah, I don’t know what the statistics are. But if I had to guess, I would guess that most of Chuba opportunities come on goal line situations. Either way Canales playcalling in short situation don’t pass eyeball test.

I want to see Bryce with an elite wide receiver. Baker has Evans, Sam has Jetta, and Bryce has 99-year-old Adam Thielen. Until that happens, everything else is just noise.

Using the Dallas game as an example, Canales abandoned the run before the game was even out of hand after a few poor drives and allowed their pass rushers to do what they do best. Even Micah Parsons mentioned this himself. Additionally, I don't know if I have ever seen Canales run the ball on a third and short. The feeling I get is that he is in over his head as a play caller and needs to pass it on to someone else.

Sam had every opportunity available, he failed himself. On the other hand, one could argue that Baker didn't get a fair chance. He was traded for late, had to split snaps with Sam, and never seemed to find his rhythm. Either way context matters, both players had their chances and neither were successful
