  1. Rhule has shown without fail that he CANNOT evalute players and put the best players in position to succeed. We could have a team of all pros and he would find a way to fug it up. The man is a terrible head coach and an even worse talent evaluator.
  2. We have a HC that couldn’t put together a preschool puzzle about football. Part of being a good head coach is elevating those around you. Rhule has taken these players and dragged them down to his level of buffoonary.
  3. Wouldn’t have mattered if he did. Irving still would have been our starting LT. Slater is a guard. *edit* quoted the wrong post* Should have been about drafting Slater.
  4. Sometimes i wonder if he took the job expecting Rhule to be fired last year.
  5. Wouldn't matter. Walker will get all the preseason snaps.
  6. No group other than RB is a strength right now. But is that because of Fitts or is that sheer incompetence by Rhule and company. This whole oline competition was a farce that wasted valuable time. Chinn was DROY runner up, and he's been made impotent playing him at FS. Baker? What choice did we have? The CFL qb Rhule refuses to cut? The list is long of Rhule's dumb ass moves that have led to this losing situation. I wouldn't trust Matt Rhule to pick up a gallon of milk from the grocery store at this point. What has he done to prove he's an even mildly competent head coach and capable of making the most basic of correct decisions?
  7. I can't get an honest read on Fitts. Matt Rhule is the worst NFL coach not named Urban Meyer I have ever seen.
  8. Opened the thread hoping it was about Rhule being fired. Left disappointed.
  9. Anyone here think if he had a choice, Fitts wouldn't fire Rhule in a hot second.
  10. Fitts has given Rhule pieces to make this team better. Rhule has poo the bed with explosive diarrhea. He doesn't play the right players. He has guys out of position. He's using basic college D against NFL players. Our offense is Madden rookie mode. It's a fuging sham.
  11. So this is the rock star OC that saved Rhule’s job?
  12. Matt Rhule should be a DC. He finds ways to neutralize our best players before they even take the field.
  13. Mac Jones is the type of guy if he got decleated on a hit it wouldn't bother me at all.
  14. If it wasn't for fantasy football I wouldn't really give 2 shits about the NFL this year. I love my Panthers but Rhule is toxic to this team.
  15. When you accept the fact that NFL refs and WWE refs both work for the same type of entertainment organization, it gets easier. They don't have to call it right. They don't have to call it at all. Follow the storyline on important games. fug the rest.
  16. I'm not. 2 years is enough to show something. Not even increased win totals. Grasping simple football concepts would be an improvement. Stop spewing BS at every press conference. It just doesn't work for me. It never has.
  17. If you take away the 200 yards rushing we gave up on big plays we held them to 2.6ypc.
  18. I just look at that round and what we did. We took a long snapper with an obvious need for a guard, as evidenced by taking Brown later in the round. Regardless of what any other team did, even not knowing how Smith would turn out, it made more sense to take Smith, a day 2 prospect at that pick, and a LS later if we had to have one. I know we're only talking about 6th round picks and most of them bust anyway. I just really liked Humphrey and Smith coming out of college and was really disappointed we didn't get either when we had prime opportunities. I watch offensive linemen closer than any position going into the draft.
  19. It's in comparison to taking a long snapper. Which is the more rare talent at that point in the draft? A long snapper or a day 2 prospect with a medical condition that MAY affect his ability to play at a position we had need to fill? I liked any other pick except LS. It could have been another guard or center. LS just didn't make any sense.
  20. I wasn't trying to insult you. I was saying, in a gm role, if you watched the games, IOL was a obvious need. And I said before, during and after the draft we needed a center and a guard. Creed was always on my wish list as a top 2 center and Smith was a plug and play guard talent I wanted as well. I thought he would go in round 5 after the medical. Rounds 2 and 3 are like round 1 for IOL. I had wanted McCoy the year we took little. But really, it comes down to we needed IOL, had the opportunity and failed to seize it.
