  1. As much as possible. On the one hand, the more reps he gets, the better he should be in the new system and we really need that to be the case. On the other hand, if he does get hurt, we're likely looking at a high draft pick for a QB or LT. It's another year lost but I'd rather him get hurt preseason than halfway through the year and end up at pick 8-15 where we just miss out on the elite level talent.
  2. Blake Bortles is available. I know, I know. But he's got NFL starter experience. Can win a couple of games in a pinch. And for the right price, would likely be better than PJ or Grier. Question is what would he want for a contract.
  3. What if you drop it? Are you going to feel deflated?
  4. My toilet is facing New Orleans. May their asses burn with the heat of 1000 Carolina reapers.
  5. Maybe he thought he was supposed to bump and release... except he's not a tight end.
  6. I know it was bad. Just trying to put a little positive spin on it even though there was really none to be had
  7. It looks like he whiffed more than got pancaked. He was stretching out to make the block and the DB stopped and was changing direction and a push up from lower was enough to get him off his feet. At least it sounds better than he got pancakes by a 200 lb DB.
  8. Did they read the Huddle before trading for him? We all knew. How the hell could they not.
  9. He's probably already gotten more QB coaching than he did in 3 years in NY.
  10. It's hard to get separation in 2 yards
  11. What about the one where the guys dress up like the Easter bunny and are all hanging outside the bar rethinking their career choices when the waitress comes outside to take out the trash.. I could go on but I ran out of data on my plan...
  12. Kinda like having a corvette in the garage but always driving your 1990 Ford Taurus because it's always gotten you from point A to point B and it's not like you drive over 65 anyway.
  13. It's Moton easily. I liked Samuel but it's a damn shame it took so long to figure out how to use him. I know Ron was a defensive guy but man, you would think he would have learned something having to plan around gadget players.
  14. I didn't have a problem with signing Elfein. My issue was it was so fast and IMO, a little high based on his body of work. If we're looking for someone who can slide between C/G then it makes some sense instead of going with a guy that's strictly a guard. I figured he could have been had later in FA for less.
  15. It's not 1 case. It's 22 separate unresolved cases. He could be more, a whole lot more, and he may be. But right now, from a business standpoint, you can't give up 3 years of number 1s and some 2s, starting caliber players, 50m in salary cap and dedicate a roster spot on the hope that this isn't true. I don't think for 1 second Watson is ignorant. Bringing in dozens of massage therapists and going as far as to fly them in, if nothing crazy is going on, record that poo.
  16. And what if the league suspends him indefinitely? I know the chances are slim to none, but just for arguments sake. Would the Texans be willing to give back those picks because they know he's going to be playing the next 10 years. Of course not. The only thing the Texans are sure of is someone is going to be desperate and possibly bail them out of a huge bind. I hope it isn't us.
