  1. Week 10-12 and he's still doing the same thing, then yeah, I'll agree with you. I'm just not there yet watching the interior of this line and I don't know wtf Brady is doing.
  2. TB played afraid. He would rarely throw beyond a check down. I'm not saying he isn't without his faults and he hadn't looked good today. I'm just saying he needs more than 5 games in this offense to be crowned a failure.
  3. It's not automatic when you can't get a rhythm. The interior of this line is the worst I can ever remember the Panthers fielding. Hurney poo the bed in 2019 with the Little and Grier picks. McCoy was the obvious pick but we chose to ride with Paradis.
  4. 5 games into the season on a new team with a new OC and an oline that can't block in the middle. He needs some time.
  5. Deonte could block better laying down and taking a nap.
  6. I really hope Darnold balls out this year and someone gives Brady his first HC job.
  7. I didn't necessarily not want Erving or Elfein, I just hoped wed have better options.
  8. Darnold seems to do better on the quick reads is my thought. Get it going quick and get his confidence going before dropping a 50 yd bomb to Robby.
  9. Or the opposing DC has made adjustments and it's taking him some time to figure it out. Personally I think we should start the 3rd on a hurry up offense to get him going
  10. Finding guys that can go from college to the pro level is getting harder and harder. I really think they need a developmental league outside of college that can help players develop into NFL capable players.
  11. Not true. Gentleman was very aggressive trying to hike his shorts up to his neck.
  12. Carson Green from the Texans practice squad looks interesting but not sure I'd want to have to put him on the 53 right away. He's a tackle but I'd he could play guard it could be worth looking into. Another would be James Ferentz from NE. He's played guard and center with a couple of starts but again, that 53 roster requirement is a bitch.
  13. Heard they signed Jamie Collins back after making this move so the cap space was needed.
  14. So Elfien and a 2023 4th to Detroit for Sewell you say...
  15. Just consider the trade as a 6th for a 5th and we will be looking at Djax and Gilmore in FA this off-season.
  16. In order to get the comp he will have played 2021 making it his 10th
  17. Best we can get for him is a 5th. He's a 10 year vet.
  18. I know, but if we're talking about pulling missing pieces out of retirement to play, I'd rather have Gross because LT is definitely a bigger missing piece.
  19. I don't know man. TBIs are a funny thing. My wife has one and it took about 6 months for the gravity of it to hit her. Another one could leave her crippled and we all know once you have that first concussion, another is easier to get. I have no doubt Luke loves football, but reality may very well have set in for him. Brain injuries are a sobering thing. I've had 4 concussions myself and I've often wondered when or if they will catch up to me, especially now after her permanent injury.
  20. At this point I believe Fitt will somehow turn our 1st into multiple 1sts, a 2nd and some magic beans that will grow a new LT.
  21. I'd rather have Jordan Gross come out of retirement.
  22. The best parts of this deal. 1. We get the 2019 DPOY for a 2023 6th for the rest of the year. 2 If we choose to not keep Jax or Gilmore, the contract signed will end up netting us a 3rd or 4th round comp pick most likely for Jax or a 5th for Gilmore. 3. The Patriots are paying part of his salary. 4. Unless we keep both, we acquired talent and moved up in draft position. This is how you 4d chess.
