  1. Well that just means players are gonna be asking for more during contract negotiations, nothing much changes.
  2. Sewell Fields Lance Pitts/Chase Trade down
  3. Not that I would but trading Brian Burns would turn into something like that.
  4. Cash considerations...we’re probably just sending them a Big Bo’ Box
  5. Yeah they probably might do that, still would leave one of the top 4 available at #5, that being Trey Lance if the picks play out like that.
  6. This move is great for the Panthers... As mentioned, this move makes it more likely for the Dolphins willing to trade back if they're willing to wait to take a WR. I've always thought they end up taking Sewell if they stay at 3 and this move just makes it that more likely. So with Sewell gone, the Bengals probably will be looking to trade down a few spots. With the Dolphins taking Sewell at 3, trading up with the Bengals will secure us one of the top 4 QBs.
  7. Yup, and I didn't even mention what the Raiders ended up giving up for him...a 1st and a 2nd round pick.
  8. He requested a trade after the 2010 season, owner said no fug you. So Carson decided to retire, and Bengals placed him on reserved/retired list. That same off-season the Bengals drafted Andy Dalton and halfway through the season they saw that Andy was going to be their next franchise QB, so they ended up trading Carson to the Raiders after their starter Jason Campbell got hurt.
  9. For a true franchise QB anything is possible.
  10. 2018 only played 9 games but had 80 rec yards per game, and 2019 was out the entire year. I would say 2020 was his only true off year. Many people believe he was still dealing with injuries throughout this year even though he played the entire season, some of the lack of production could've also been in part that the Bengals now finally had additional help at WR with Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins. I know Tyler Boyd has been with the team since 2016 but he started producing once AJ went down in 2018. Great signing for Arizona if Green is now 100% healthy.
  11. If we do end up acquiring him, I really hope we at least don't give up this year's 2nd round pick, so many potential starting OL will be available by that pick. I know our defense will take a hit with this trade but if we can get someone like Alex Leatherwood, Jalen Mayfield, Wyatt Davis, Radunz, Eichenberg in the 2nd...Our offense is going to be crazy.
  12. Excited to get a franchise QB and afraid of how much we'd give up, but whatever ends up happening, I'll never get off this mfn train.
  13. Benjamin Allbright @AllbrightNFL What book has the best odds on Carolina landing Watson? Asking for a me. I got you bud.
  14. So Kendrick Bourne went to the Patriots and Corey Davis to the Jets, this dude is 0-2 so far. This dude just throwing guesses out there.
  15. Definitely agree with you that it's a lot, but it's also 100x better than what they had.
  16. Elflein - backup center, will compete for either guard position, if doesn't win...decent backup for all 3 spots. Erving - played center in college, could compete for either guard position, could compete for the T position opposite of Moton. Decent backup for all 5 positions in the OL if loses out on any starting battles Versatile signings. Helps us in taking BPA in the draft.
  17. So with this addition we now have a backup center/potential starting guard or backup to both guard positions if we bring back John Miller and draft another guard. Nice signing.
  18. No, bring back John Miller and address one of the two remaining OL starting positions in the 2nd round. Many potential starting OL could be available by our second pick. Guys like Alex Leatherwood, Wyatt Davis, Jalen Mayfield, Dillon Radunz, Eichenberg, Trey Smith. Fill the remaining spot through free agency.
  19. Man...I can't wait for the draft day to get here already. Whether it's Deshaun or a rookie, we are getting a new starting QB, can't wait to see who that is going to be.
  20. Agreed, let's just hope the organization and coaching staff get it right this time in how to build around a superstar.
  21. Possibly the only way the 49ers (or any team) agree to trade for Teddy is if we accept to still take on a huge part of that salary. I don't know exactly how that'll work but hell, I'm all for taking the fully amount guaranteed from this year if it means he's gone and if we can be clear completely from that contract heading into the 2022 offseason.
  22. Yeah I don’t care what they do with him either, just get him the hell out of here. I was just mentioning that for whoever wonders what that trade would mean for Jimmy G
