  1. Yeah that’s absurd wtf is wrong with Brandt
  2. Damn that friggin sucks. NFL “struggles” aside he was in the top 1% at what he did and was an incredibly talented young man. Tragic
  3. A large part of that is the scheme and the offense he's in. Those guys ahead of him in yards/in the company of, look at their teams and offenses (QB play too, but more so just how good the teams are in general and their coaches' passing philosophies) Bucs, Rams, Cardinals, Bills, Chiefs, Chargers and Packers. We've thrown for 47 passing TDs combined the last 3 seasons, the worst in the league in that timespan (2nd worst in 2019, 3rd worst in 2020, 2nd worst in 2021). That is embarrassing and that isn't because DJ or Robby or whoever else we've had aren't capable red zone weapons. It's our horrible coaching and QB play.
  4. It didn't get any better with a new team and owner... In fact it got significantly worse.
  5. I wouldn’t put it past him but it makes absolutely no sense for him to do it from his perspective and I can’t see it happening any time in the near future. 7+ years from now? Who knows
  6. This could be an epic smokescreen if we get Aints to trade up for Willis (ridiculous waste of draft capital for such a raw prospect) and then drop down ourselves and take Pickett or someone else at a more reasonable draft position while picking up extra draft picks.
  7. Canes don't have any cap space to bring him up and as good as he's been in the A, he's not ready for anything more than a few spot starts. Freddie is the guy and Raanta is the backup. If one of them gets hurt we could do an emergency recall but with them healthy we can't bring up Pyotr. And Freddie has been great, he's still like top 3 league wide...
  8. I wouldn't put it past this staff to just forget they had a pick and just never make that pick
  9. Parker isn't very good. If I were them I'd have tried to trade him outside the division but that return is good value for the Dolphins.

    PFF?

I remember when PFF always thought Luke sucked early in his career which was completely ridiculous, then a switch randomly flipped like 3-4 years in and then he was all of sudden the best LB every year according to them. They're completely random and I put pretty much no stock into their grades.
  11. Must’ve had a health issue come up or something that’s a total shocker
  12. He didn’t really contribute positively to our D as a starter. Decent depth but not as a starter
  13. If I were a gambler I'd gladly take those odds and hope we hit on a rookie QB. It's ridiculous to have us behind the Giants, Falcons, Lions.
  14. I don't need to read the report, they may want to trade the picks fine. But not for such horrible value. Hey old pal, bend me over and fug me on this trade just because we're old friends! Come on Scot
  15. And they would hang up immediately and never do business with you again. 6 overall and a 2023 1st rounder is not even close in value to 5 and 7 overall this year. And no Robby Anderson being added would not move the needle whatsoever either.
  16. Pickett Pick 6 may be something we have to get used to..
  17. We already chose Jackson to start across from Horn. End of story.
  18. This was always a risk and needed to factor into the price of acquisition. The picks they gave up weren't crazy but the fully guaranteed contract they gave him was. I still don't think this will matter, he may be suspended for a relatively small amount of games but most likely scenario is in the long term he'll be able to play and be a franchise QB for them.
  19. Winning record and playoff appearance. Or losing record playoff appearance if we win at least 1 playoff game. But he’d still be on a short leash in 2023 unless we win the SB. Need back to back winning seasons and playoffs
  20. Why would anyone hate him? He can be a terrible coach and we can want him gone without any reason to hate the guy.
  21. If we miss the playoffs Rhule is gone, I’d say that’s pretty clear. Even if a rookie QB comes in and plays like Justin Herbert from his first snap. I don’t think this draft has any impact at all in Rhule’s future other than how well it contributes to us winning games and making the playoffs this season.
  22. And we have one of the worst dead weight contracts in the league in Darnold right now. We’d have nearly $50M in cap space without him and our roster wouldn’t be any worse.
  23. Just remembered... the Dolphins have a lefty QB. Why would they value a LT so much as to give Armstead that massive deal? Are they confident he’ll seamlessly slide to RT? Or just need OL that bad they don’t care about investing a ton in a non-blindside tackle?
