They do when they have physical defenses that crush their opponents. Tom Brady retired for one reason, to win it all at SF. They are that close. When TB said he would not be released to go there, he unretired.

The reason no one has traded for them is simple:they suck. And they are expensive. If we do nothing but start Darnold and resign Cam, we are better off at the QB position, are not out any more money and aren't bleeding draft picks like we have done for several years. Perhaps the best we can do, is suck it up and fall on our sword for another year.

Everyone has preferences. Some want Pickett, some want Willis, some want a LT and wait. If we get a FA LT, then I want Pickett. If not, I'm good with a LT and wait tile next year for a QB

The Cross has no run blocking tape is lazy and stupid. He started his Freshman year in a pro style offense and showed a mean streak. Just because his last two years were in an Air Raid offense doesn't mean the tape isn't there. He is the best pure LT in this draft, period. No one is better in pass protection and he is as good as the rest in run blocking. Several others who will get drafted as LT will end up as RT or G due to lack of lateral quickness for NFL pass rushers. That's a waste for top 10 picks. Cross is a prototypical LT and will start there for some team for the next decade.

I like everything I see. Watching this, he can make all the throws. Touch, arm strength, placement. If we go QB at 6, I want Pickett

If we sign a LT to a more than one year contract, we are going QB. I think Pickett is the best of this year's group and also think he can be a top 10 qb

Cross is the best pass protector in the draft.

I dont care who disagrees, I want Pickett. I didn't like any of the QBs last year, but Jones had a nice season. Didn't want Fields and he did zero last year. The year before I wanted Herbert when everyone on here said he sucks. He doesn't and is a top 10 NFL qb and only getting better. I'm not saying he is Joe Burrow, but Burrow was frankly a one hit wonder at LSU as well. I want Pickett.

That's fine, but most of the same people talking crap about Herbert a few years back are saying the same here.

Like it or not, we are a couple of OL moves away from drafting Kenny Pickett at 6.

Go with Darnold and roll. If you fix several spots with FA, you can get the final piece next year. No more silly trades for hasbeens

Now go get our C and draft a LT at 6. Put everything in place to actually build a long term winner

Everyone is on the wrong track. Watson is waiting for Zod to finish finding out which city has the most massage parlors. I feel like a dark horse may be Las Vegas.

FA has gone well for us. Add a C and another CB and S, and the draft sets up nicely for a LT at 6. All of a sudden, you have a competitive team. Not saying Darnold is the answer, but before all the injuries, we were 3-0 last year. He can be serviceable until we find our franchise QB. Watson kills us for years just to see a hollow shell of Michael Vick running for his life. I'd rather have kept Richardson. At least we played in 2 SB

Just play him this year, draft an OLman and figure out QB next year. Stop with all the money losing, draft pick losing trades

He is a good but unspectacular pick. He has above average arm strength, but not a cannon. His main flaws are his size and not being accurate. He throws around the area of recievers not to them and while you can get away with that in college, you can't in the pros. He is a less talented Baker Mayfield. No thanks

Flores will never work in the NFL again. Right or wrong, he has made his decision with the lawsuit and frankly, no one can ever trust him again. Everyone he works with from now on realizes he will stab them in the back if he gets a chance. No thanks.
