Does he have a fake smile as well? Just curious how far you want to go to slam Stroud?

I still get surprised how offended people get with anything Cam related, he was awesome but he wasn’t perfect, and that’s ok. They comparison was just regarding one aspect of Cam’s game, not the overall player. And it was an opinion not aimed at being negative about Cam, but highlighting something being undervalued with Richardson.

The Whole "SEC" Argument is So Badly Flawed
Martin replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
It is extremely flawed, despite what Thomas Davis says. Any SEC team would be destroyed by the worst team in the NFL. If you argue otherwise I don’t know what to say. -
I think people know that reason is out the window in this case and are just letting it be. There essentially is the Young supporters, the Stroud supporters, and Rippadonn is part of a third group. I’ve always admired his passion, but this is something completely different.

I’m a Stroud guy, but coming around to Young thanks to Rippadonn. If he is that strongly against Young, Young has a chance to be special.

Official Sound off like you got a pair Panthers Draft predictions thread
Martin replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think a poll would be good. Who I think and who I want. Only three players, Young, Stroud and Richardson. Just make all options available, e.g. think Young but want Stroud -
It’s like a factory. They find someone young and promising, develop them to an excellent reporter, send them off and bring in someone new. It is pretty impressive tbh.

OFFICIAL: Bryce Young cancels remaining team visits
Martin replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It would have been nice with a few questions about Richardson and Stroud, then we could have heard the difference in the answers, a missed opportunity if you ask me. -
The two losses vs. Michigan is a really weird thing to hold against Stroud. Michigan scored +40 points in both games and ran at will. Remember that Young lost both games vs opponents scoring +30 points. Sure they were closer, but this is a team game, blaming a loss on the QB when he couldn’t overcome the bad defense on his own team, yikes. Stroud has his flaws, but things are getting a bit out of hand.

Any info About the Stroud and Levis Meetings?
Martin replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agreed, this is BS. It has been very clear Tepper enables his people to make the decisions and it has been communicated multiple times. -
OFFICIAL: Bryce Young cancels remaining team visits
Martin replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t think the Panthers would give out any assurances until Lewis and Stroud left the building. But I think the feel confident enough. But that’s just my guess -
That first preseason game will be the most exciting one in years

OFFICIAL: Bryce Young cancels remaining team visits
Martin replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Being a critical thinker is very different from thinking everything is a conspiracy, just saying -
I think 99% will be totally fine, most people want this whole thing to be done so we can move forward and get excited about our new QB (as long as it isn’t Levi’s ). What might trigger discourse is a potentially strong “I told you do” crowd. Hopefully that is kept somewhat in check.

I don’t think they are mutually exclusive in any way. I think it would have been awesome if Young was bigger. Sounds like the Young crowd thinks he’s perfect and wouldn’t want him bigger even if it was possible. I think this is the biggest misconception, thinking the only reason someone prefers Stroud is because he’s taller. Complete dismissing his accuracy, taking snaps under center, ability to read a defense etc.

BetMGM has closed their book on the #1 overall pick
Martin replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
If he is there at 9 it doesn’t mean he would have been if we didn’t move up. Us going to #1 changed things up. But I agree, rational thinking will be out the door if that happens and the melt down will be full on.
