When it came down to the final three, I was begging for Kellen Moore over the re-treads. At least he is in that group of modern NFL play callers, and he has the chargers offense looking pretty good. But what do I know.

This is true, but like that was a pull back and throw play that just didn't work out. It was a good play by a defender that probably new it was coming. If he is bumped off at all, that was a TD.

Penalties were killer. We were looking at 1st and goal at the 6, but a bad penalty on the LT, then an awful play call to go back another few yards. Then the fumble, huge change of momentum there. Should have been up 16 to 7 at minimum there.

That is what Bryce is missing. On said play that throw is all anticipation and placement related. 2 things Bryce is supposed to excel at. But he just doesn't seem to trust himself or his eyes.

My concern levels have jumped significantly. We hired a staff that was brought into develop a guy, they are failing hard on all levels, and we got a rookie who is too afraid to let it rip. I'm not a rush to judgement guy, but if the play doesn't improve in a few more games I think we will be looking for someone new 2 years from now. The question is, will we have missed the boat? We need a proper rebuild and no more of this retool business, and actual modern coach. It's certainly trending towards rough years ahead.

I think this is tough. True, the play calling has been bad, but Bryce has to take some chances down field and give his receivers opportunity to make plays. Second to last play, Theliend is wide open on the double move and Bryce doesn't pull the trigger. Bryce could still turn into something, but he's got some work to do.

Taking the Rams approach I see lol. Tee Higgins or Adam's. If the broncos get spanked Sutton or Juedy are way cheaper.

I agree, personally I would rather us wait for agency and see if we can snag Higgins, but decent WRs aren't always available these days.

I wonder what Jameson Williams would cost, he hasn't done much in Detroit at this point.

Assuming Denver takes another L or 2 they could move into a fire sale. I've seen folks put a 3rd or 4th round value on him. Would you do it?

Agree here, I loved Stroud and Young, but I 100% admit that had I been the GM I would have taken Young, just as most teams would have.

Hrs almost did, go rewatch that game, Georgia was on pins and needles and was saved by two or three dropped passes that were dots by Bryce.

I don't know that I would call 54% completion with 23 tds and 18 interception great off the bat. Luck really took off his second year.

I agree, it is disappointing that he hasn't lived up to being the most pro-ready guy. I don't think it's the be all end all of his year though, there is a lot of time to still turn things around.

Even when he had backups coming in after everyone got injured he still was a couple dropped passes away from beating them in that championship game.
