  1. CMC is a top notch RB and a top notch WR, but...that was a hellova contract, and the cap hit doubles next season.
  2. No doubt we got waaaaay outcoached in that game. Also, Moton is a lot better than Remmers. I said that we had a GOOD oline that year, not a great one. I agree with your statement, but it doesn't detract from my opinion that it's better to lock down a quality tackle than a quality WR or RB.
  3. Exactly, Cam took to the SB with a good O-line and a bunch of scrubs at skill positions. I get that a big part of that is that Cam played like a man possessed, BUT, if you don't win in the trenches, you don't win. Just look at what happened to KC in the superbowl with the injuries they had on the line.
  4. FWIW, Seattle seemed to keep a lot of top talent (with the exception of o-line, lol) the whole time Fitterer was there. Maybe he gets it in a way that his predecessors never did. When it came to contracts, G-man was too cocky and irrational, and Hurn-dog was a moron. Then again, I have a feeling that they both got a lot of pressure from the owner.
  5. Abso-fuggin-lutely! And I actually think DW played well right up to the SB.
  6. Reddick has a cap hit of $1.9M coming off a 12.5 sack season. That has to be near the top of the list.
  7. This is hilarious! The best part is that Smitty likely would have slapped the poo out of him over 2 points!
  8. Not an overstatement at all! but, I disagree with Orlovsky's opinion that he has to play like a top 5 pick for us to win 10+ games. If he can just look like a mid-tier (top 15) QB, we can very likely put up 10 wins, and make the playoffs. I also think he has, at least, that potential if the line can keep him out of the grass.
  9. At this point, we have to assume that Christensen will start somewhere on that line, even if the coaches haven't figured out where. Also, Miller and Moton held the right side down like bosses last year. Things aren't as bleak as PFF makes out.
  10. No, no one remembers them. Hell, no one knew their names then.
  11. If you'd told him he was the first, maybe he'd have been more gentle with you.
  12. Hell, I can't pull out of a parking spot!
  13. They have all the good tape on the rest of the NFL. I wish they'd release their stuff.
  14. That is the only acceptable answer from any athlete. I love the attitude. He's not going to say that he expects get beat out by a UDFA that we picked up off waivers last year or a rookie.
  15. I tend to get a few who-the-fug-was-that moments, especially when they start bringing up PS players to replace injured guys.
  16. Maybe our D got so much better that they leapfrogged the Offense, glass half full, lol.
  17. 47, assuming they're all correct. Not too bad. I'll be able to keep up with all 53 (if not evey #) by game 3.
  18. short version; Christen hopefully wins LT. But if he doesn't, he's the defacto LG
  19. On the line, definitely. We brought in 2 serviceable FA's, picked up 2 rookies (3 if we count Christensen, but I hope we don't), and have a healthy Daley back. LG was supposed to be his to lose last year until that entire side of the line got hurt. Someone should stick, and be much better than Reed.
  20. I think your line up makes a lot of sense, but the wild card is going to be Erving. Christensen should definitely start, but it remains to be seen whether that will be at LT or LG. Erving, Daley, and Elfein will battle for the position he doesn't win, with Scott in the race for LT. Without seeing a single practice snap, let alone one in pads, I see this being the starting line up: Christensen - Daley- Paradis - Miller - Moton With Elfein and Erving backing up the guards and Scott being backup at both tackle spots. Elfein will be backup center. I do think both Moore and Brown make the team, but doubt they see a lot of action unless there are injuries. Scott - Christensen - Paradis - Miller - Moton, IF Christensen doesn't win the LT spot.
