  1. despite the injuries to Horn, Shaq and Haynes, evero been doing a good job scheming his pass rush despite not having elite pass rushers and have been keeping us in games up until the 4th quarter. our tackling and run defense needs to improve especially on the edge (we all know why).
  2. I'd like to add Hurney: God awful with salary cap management. Often gave horribly structured deals to players past their prime and having to constantly restructure Gettleman: Good at finding cheap vets in FA that helped contribute and/or added depth Never was able to find reliable offense weapons and lineman for Cam Built a formidable D-Line Fitt: Too much of a push over from his owner and HC Tries too hard to replicate the 2012 Seahawks
  3. of course our o-line was healthy all season last year until the final game and was arguably a top 10 line. the following season, we lose two starters in BC and Corbett to injuries and now forced to start a raw rookie and a FB at RG. its just the black cat curse
  4. so far, Fit has found neither or have trade them or let them walk in FA
  5. "WR are easier to replace than pass rushers" - Fitt
  6. both games, the falcons and saints defense had 9 in the box almost every play and there's nothing our offense can do about it
  7. don't worry, its still week 6 of preseason. we have to continue running a vanilla offense so we don't show our cards to the opponent
  8. decline rams-burns trade and then trade away our best WR since Steve smith because "receivers are easier to replace than premier pass rushers" to now, unable to resign Burns and having a bunch of slow bums at WR DJ wasn't elite but he was very solid especially in the short and intermediate game along with his YAC. Which is perfect for QB play style like Bryce's and the "offense" we seen the past two games. not only that, he was on a reasonable contract
  9. fox went downhill after Jake's injury and decline but his panthers were always physical and ready for smash mouth football
  10. sure, franchise tag burns and we end up in the same situation next year if they still aren't able to come to an extension. also, if burns doesn't play well or gets injured this season, a team wont trade 2 first for him
  11. teams know that Burns is in a contract year. If the panthers cannot resign him before next offseason, Burns can walk for nothing. Therefore, if the panthers get desperate after not being able to extend Burns before trade deadline, they may be force to trade him. Unless a playoff teams get into a bidding war, we aren't getting much in return for him now
  12. a 2nd or 3rd is the best we can get now since we lost all leverage in trade
  13. negative x-rays means there's no fracture. doesn't seem like a high ankle because that is not the normal mechanism for high ankle sprain. most likely a medial ankle sprain and possible injury to muscle(s) in calf
  14. Pat Mahomes didn't start his first season. Rodgers didn't start till year 3. Cam started training camp his rookie year as 3rd string and worked his way up during camp and preseason. It's not about Rhule ignoring his rookie QB or his bs 50/50 reps for Baker and Darnold. It's about learning and earning your reps before being named the starter. The game is just too fast for Bryce as we saw these past two games.
  15. never understood why they gave BY the starting role prior to training camp. let him earn it instead of just handing it to him
  16. we put up over 1000 yards of offense in those 2 games. our defense in 2011 before Luke came was terrible
  17. drew Brees was always unstoppable with his infamous 2 hands reach the ball over the line on 4 and 1
  18. 2nd/4th/6th for Darnold 5th for Baker 3rd and 4th for Corral 6th for Gilmore 3rd and back up TE for CJ 6th for Daryl Johnson "oh wee mayne"
  19. its not a full surgery where they cut you open and operate which would require a few months to rehab and heal. but basically an arthroscope is when they make a few small incisions (a few cm wide) and place a small camera and other instruments to either clean up scar tissue and/or place sutures. commonly done for the knee and shoulder. cam had it done for his partially torn rotator cuff in his shoulder a few years ago. my educated guess is that Horn had partial tear in his hamstring where the muscle meets the tendon or the tendon partially ripped off from the bone near the knee. therefore, since its not a full complete tear, they could use arthroscope to suture the partially torn tissue together. recovery time depending on how well Horn progress would be around 6-8 weeks. if everything goes well, he could be back by late Nov. but its Horn we're talking about....
  20. Horn's "procedure" could potentially be an arthroscope and/or PRP injections
