Take a look at the trends, it's pretty obvious that those alone put us at least in the bottom five. But let's compare. -Jacksonville Showed against Indianapolis what that team is capable of and didn't tank for draft position. Trevor had a career game and their defense has shown some life this year. They immediately provide optimism after that last game. -Detroit Not nearly as bad as their record shows. Great coach, players play for him, and they beat the #1 team in the league at that time. They were lacking talent but not passion. The right guys get put in there, two years, detroit will have something -Jets Showed fight down the stretch, Wilson started to open up a bit. If we played them again, we'd lose. Still accomplished more in year one under Saleh than we did with Matt Fool. -Giants, Bears New coaches and GM. That alone is a relief for those two teams. And here we are with talent mixed with third string baylor and temple players. Going all defense in that first draft did net the number 2 defense in the league, but that statistic is a lie. Our top two pass rushers had 11 and 9.5 respectively. That's solid if you can make up for it elsewhere. Assumes we are going on a super bowl run after starting 3-0 but alas IN THE NFL, FILM EXISTS AND THESE ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST (except the Panthers). Dallas outed us and exposed us like the Niners did two years ago and Shittsburgh the year before that. Strange that it's two different regimes. We hold on to our staff (outside of three position coaches) after pissing away draft picks because somehow, after beating the Jets, Taints and Texans, we were in win now mode. After running CMC into the ground again, and I fully don't expect us to trade him and we'll just trade out of that first round pick to get mOrE pIcKs because MUH ANAL-ITICS. Do you trust Rhule, Fitterrer or Tepper to EVEN TANK CORRECTLY?

At number 6 the Carolina Panthers select...Charles Cross???
RumHam replied to PanthersGOATFan336's topic in Carolina Panthers
if a QB desperate team like Shittsburgh (Ben will be back though, bank on it) thinks we are taking a QB and we can drop a few spots and still get Cross, then by all means go ahead. -

This is who i want unless he falls off. I don't trust the big size of the Alabama guy. This guy will be great. Don't fall for the QB hype, the QB's are mostly garbage. -
Well we can't stop the run and the front four underperforms so go on. At least we didn't hang on to an oline coach forever like Rivera did.
-
fug the raiders and fug shittsburgh
-
Darnold would work with the taints
-
Fake bc it doesn't make sense. Why not get the search started now? Tepper has no fuging clue how to football.
-
well thank god tepper has deep pockets for ten year coaching deals.

Steve Smith weighs in on Panthers situation

A business man isn't going to bail after year two of a seven year investment. Rhule is here for five. -
Honestly, the defense isn't the issue. It showed major strides, but when the offense is turning the ball over and getting three and outs, it's not good. Snow's scheme got less aggressive midway through the season for some reason besides fear of getting beat deep, which is stupid. We just need an nfl experienced offensive coordinator that's not fuging jason garrett.
-
and how'd this draft work out?
-
They don't watch the games. They saw the stats.

Keeping Gilmore is a must with investing in Horn and Henderson. Horn needs to be healthy and Henderson needs to wake up. Let him play the slot. Every time we say we need to upgrade Burris, we don't and we throw scrubs back in there at safety. Chinn hasn't had a superb year, so technically safety also remains an issue once again. Not as bad as offensive line though.
-
if that happens, he'll go to jacksonville. They need protection for Tranny. Unless some defensive player is a mammoth. Or khan says fug it and drafts another QB. Cross is who i want currently. We'll end up with the best linebacker in the draft, draft another tackle with our next pick in what the fourth? Rhule and Fiterrer will fug this up.

ESPN Analytics' simulation. You're not gonna like it...maybe
RumHam replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
well they ran a bunch of simulations, playing all sides of the fence so they always come out on top. -
someone that's 6-7 350 i feel is prone to injuries. wouldn't touch him. Being that tall too those knees ain't going to last that rookie contract. I know we need a left tackle, but line play can be improved with a great center (see kalil early on). If we could nab the best center and have him for ten years starting every game and quarterbacking the line, i'd take that. But you don't take a center that high and we don't have a center.
