  1. The guys we will picking up in the draft this year:
  2. He'd have had him at Temple but they couldn't clear the visa requirements. At Baylor, he couldn't climb over the border wall.
  3. The person with the most draft picks left over at the end does NOT win.
  4. Entire first and second were stacked, too by definition then. Talk about performance anxiety!
  5. Screw it, now that guy is going to the Saints. We just traded for a fifth in 2017, a seventh this year and two supplemental draft pick opportunities later this summer. Are they smoking crack in there?
  6. Oh fug, I was just typing something and that happened. WTF????
  7. We're going to take a tight end from the Antwerp/Brussels School of Art and Design, Guy Fleuwoven.
  8. Well, six goes into 439, carry the 1958, divide by Otto Graham's number, subtract out Derek Anderson's touchdowns and well, they still haven't recovered yet. They look promising. So did at least one NFC East team last July.
  9. Gonna trade this pick for two seventh rounders in 2031 and a box of jock straps.
  10. Just heard we will be spending this pick on a long snapper from Guilford County Community College.
  11. Beginning to think they may not be making decisions next season with the way this is going.
  12. Just watching the good picks go by. Our next pick may be Lenny the slightly challenged towel boy from Penn State taken during the supplemental draft.
  13. I've never seen such a retreat since the Italians in North Africa, 1942. It's as if we're afraid to coach anyone that has any sort of a pedigree. Maybe we're just being polite and trying to make friends with other teams?
  14. Beginning to think Rhule only knows how to dumpster dive to build a team. Dear Coach, You get to pick earlier in a round and that means you can take the better players. You don't have to wait and see who Alabama, Oklahoma, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and frikkin' East Tennessee State haven't recruited yet. Thanks, Worried Fanbase.
  15. This many good players on the board and Rhule/Fitterer just keep saying, "Nah, I'm good. Gonna build a team out of UDFA and walking wounded players." This is beginning to look like watching drivers ed students try to parallel park. It's awkward, a bit painful, embarrassing and you hope they get their sh!t together before they have to get out on the road.
  16. Sometimes, yes. 15 yards and a first down are a big deal, but not as big as 40 yards and a TD when you are getting beat, though.
  17. Sometimes a flag isn't the worst outcome in pass coverage.
  18. I felt better about the pick once I realized that somewhere before the draft, Horn's pre-draft assessment got a thumbs up from Luke Kuechly. Enough said.
  19. I'm wondering if we might be eyeing an aging OT in free agency after the draft instead of grabbing a rookie. Who is still out there?
  20. I'm hoping more of like picking up Jake Delhomme off of the discards heap and going to the Super Bowl the first year.
  21. Walker Little (I think he is way undervalued). Creed Humphrey as the next pick, although reversing that order could be very doable. Of course, with the way we are picking right now, they could take a punter and a highly touted hotdog vendor in the second and third rounds. There seems to be a huge difference between their boards and what we would put on our draft boards. Then again, we haven't seen what the coach's overall strategy is. He plays things very, very close to his vest. Hope that doesn't turn out to be that it's because he's in way over his head. Trying to keep the faith in him.
  22. Someday, this will all make more sense and we'll be happy. I hope.
  23. It's not the franchise changing pick we were all hoping for, myself included. It was, on longer consideration, a wise pick that could change the W-L column for us. Better DB play means our rushers get home more often. Means we get their offense off the field more. And it means we can take great advantage of playing INT-machine Jameis Winston twice a season.
  24. After Aaron Hernandez and Patrick Chung, I don't think Belichick cares what happens off the field with his players. Heck even Mike Vrabel got arrested. Me, I think character counts, but Bill hoists trophies.
