  1. Sounds like an awesome time. Can't commit yet due to my schedule, but wish you guys luck. I'm sure it'll go well.
  2. I guess it pays to go to Walmart to get some formula for your kid, and walk by the boxes of cards before you check out
  3. Judging by yesterday, I think DJ Chark is WR1.
  4. Suspended one of his best players, presumably because he refused to run to the DBO sign
  5. I'd never heard of this card, so I figured it was like $5 on eBay now. Nope, a PSA-graded 8 copy fetched $375 https://www.ebay.com/itm/155606966267?hash=item243ae5dffb:g:mj8AAOSwYp5j0IUi&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0KR%2B2UwQVmi7yX0S7zmNBPdFqDYsUdUittvvFsXYKviXw3%2FuJc2UKQCgKezSn6i4waeVyI6RxNI8V6A6AcU%2FeOqVtcloWkvenhZUXV71XBWmTnTvuyRTBYUhPLSee12X5ZaMz8hcq2Ff12hYxtfLcSIMuJEANranz0o3bwZhtSFCfrBBq2hFiWCFAH67pCyhJz7MQZMJ9Zbuo3PFxSj68qgXyE3eMtDoWOOJa8lJDMSME8Y%2FmoQsJfNnJVRYkHiL6nvU7pWDLpIvs6H6%2FRlNODQ%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-7Tscq0Yg
  6. I demand TMJ be traded right this instant, to the Bears for DJ Moore and a first-round pick
  7. The usual suspects have been smarmy for years.
  8. This is probably my favorite headline in Huddle history, made even better by the fact I knew exactly what he was referring to, as soon as I read it. Move over, "Tommy Jone Hurt Jake Arm"
  9. I remember those days. I had a couple years where I worked earlier mornings and later nights on weekends, and only had Thursdays off. Nothing but good memories of it, but thankful it's no longer a reality.
  10. Just calling it like I see it. No reason not to have some optimism, but I think this year's gonna be less successful than others think. But, next year will be better.
  11. Hating baseball is en vogue (and, as a Red Sox fan, I've hated it for basically 3 of the last 4 years), but I really enjoy the sport. I lived it for too long in high school and college, so I just got sick of it for a while before getting back into it. Like the Braves since they're the local team, but doesn't really matter -- they're an absolute machine and they've got this year on lock. We took our kid to her first pro sporting event in June, a Braves/Mets game, and damn, it was a lot of fun. Their stadium experience and The Battery are pretty cool.
  12. This. Also, depends on what you get. We stopped at a Bojangles' in Georgia and the service was very good, but the supremes were literally the size of your thumb. Four of them equated to one chicken tender. The Bojangles' near me is excellent with its service, and its breakfast food, so I hit it up probably once a month or so. The one near work is generally pretty impolite, but their supremes and fries are still 1A as of April or May. EDIT: If you want good Bojangles', I'm telling you -- get it at a Checkers game at Bojangles' Coliseum. The supremes and fries are always fantastic and while it costs more, you get more supremes in an order and they're top-notch every time, because they're the arena sponsor.
  13. Most coaches in this team's history had better seasons -- in two cases, their best seasons -- in their second year here. Capers: 7 to 12 wins & division title Seifert: 8 to 7 wins Fox: 7 to 11 wins & NFC title Rivera: 6 to 7 wins Rhule: fug him
  14. I just don't see it this year. Way too much turnover, no continuity on offense aside from the OL and its coaches, a tough schedule and a brand-new staff -- and a rookie QB. I get 6-11 vibes, but 9-8 vibes in 2024.
  15. Wish him the best. This lineup desperately needs someone who can run with power.
  16. This is TMJ's golden opportunity year. He has a chance to ball out and become a key cog, so it's up to him to do it and his rating will reflect that (or it'll reflect 2/3 of it bc Panthers tax)
  17. Unfortunately for Kasay and Mike Tolbert, two stand-up guys who were a big reason there was a Super Bowl to care about in the first place, their legacies are often defined by a kickoff out of bounds and a fumble.
