  1. They should bring him along very slowly to primarily get him ready for next year. This year is done and Chuba is playing fantastic.
  2. The only thing worth watching these days is the growth of Legette, Coker, and Ja'Tavion Sanders. Hopefully we'll get to watch Brooks soon.
  3. I don't even care any more and trade everyone. The Panthers can be the farm team for the rest of the NFL.
  4. Geez, another awful trade where we give up a good player for peanuts. Maybe this team needs some fire in the locker room versus a bunch of nice guys that lose well.
  5. The scenario could also be the Panthers or Browns or Giants. The Panthers can't continue to let every good player leave for draft picks.
  6. Agree and my comment was why would he leave a sure thing if the money is comparable. I don't think there will be a many teams that won't to pay him a big contract but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
  7. No, I'm not missing the point. Players almost always have a preference for the team that drafted them as long as the money is comparable.
  8. I don't think he'll command that much money. If we can get him for a couple million a year and have this position locked up for the next several years, why wouldn't we do this.
  9. MLB doesn't have to set protections. They normally do, but it doesn't have to be the MLB.
  10. If the Panthers trade Hubbard for draft picks I'm going to lose my mind. Hubbard will not be expensive to keep and the Panthers should lock him up.
  11. I don't think we can trade Johnson and we are going to have to tag him unless he's a complete locker room mess. I doubt he's going to be a locker room problem because he knows he can't get paid with this rep that he already has. Without Johnson, we literally have no receiving threats and how are we going to develop any QB without receivers.
  12. You mean the strategy of trading players for draft picks and then having an immediate need at the position you just traded isn't a winning strategy?
  13. Trust me I feel the same way when this place wants to get rid of every player or coach that doesn't ball out in their first year. The Huddle would have traded Tom Brady and Peyton Manning after their first year. Again, I'm not saying Bryce is the answer, but they can't give up on him yet.
  14. This is exactly what this place said about Mayfield with all the tipped balls. I don't think Bryce is the answer, but the Panthers have to stop looking for quick fixes and they need to be patient. Loser franchises constantly make rash decisions and giving up the farm for a guy and then unloading him in less than 2 seasons is crazy.
  15. Who cares any more . . . this is such a clown show.
  16. His effort was lacking last game and I perhaps Johnson has mailed it in. If this is accurate, who wants to give this guy big money anyway.
  17. The same thing was said about Mayfield and Darnold. Panthers might not win another game and there is nothing to lose in starting Bryce for a couple games and maybe the rest of the year. Heck, I'd start playing practice squad players at this point because this team is complete trash. Maybe let Tepper suit up for a couple snaps while we are at it.
  18. False - we need to see him again and fans said the same thing about Darnold and Mayfield.
  19. QB had time and no idea why Dalton couldn't find an open receiver other than a check down.
  20. How do you game plan when the defense gives up points on every drive. The offense has to keep running the ball because this is the only thing that the Panthers can do competently.
  21. A team will eventually get desperate and give up something stupid for Bryce and it wouldn't be a bad move. The Panthers haven't exactly set Bryce up for success and it wouldn't surprise me to see him excel in Miami or a place like that where the QB doesn't have to make difficult throws with all the WR and RB talent.
  22. Johnson just turned 28 this past July so he has plenty of gas left in the tank.
  23. It is such a tough spot for Canales, but he knew what he was getting into and he's getting paid big money. This seems like Tepper meddling as usual.
  24. Johnson is a legit number 1 WR and we need to lock him down. He's performing and this is with average QB play. Legette has potential to be a number 1, but he's still pretty raw and needs some time to develop.
