He was raw out of college and he looked raw last year. The talent is there and if folks don't see that then they are just looking to hate. He needs to polish his game to remain a starter and I'm pulling for him because he is so likeable.

They are keeping 6 and the 6th spot will be Renfrew or Moore. Renfrew needs to stay healthy.

No idea why XL gets so much hate here. Most WRs don't excel until their 3rd year unless they are a phenom and phenoms don't get drafted at the end of the 1st round.

It is going to be interesting because I suspect that most defenses will have to put 8 in the box to stop Carolina's run game and this will set-up Bryce the the WRs to eat.

It is preseason and Sanders is one of the most talked about draft picks in a long time and he plays the QB position . . . I look forward to watching him as well. I'm pulling for the kid but not tonight.

Games are not rigged. Collusion between the owners is a given in my opinion. The NFL has too much to lose to rig a game and I don't see the upside. Plus, with whistlblower laws, someone would tell and likely get a significant payout for blowing the whistle (pun intended haha).

Moore or you'll see Horn get "injured" and they stash him that way.

He apparently put on weight to play at A&M and lost a step because he was asked to play differently. He's trimmed down and allegedly gained that step back. He had significant production "lighter" and "heavier" but he fits our defense better in the "lighter" version. I think it is a solid pick and time will tell.

OLB is the biggest need by far at the moment.

He needs to go away for a while because he's not so entertaining with knowledge of his recent transgressions. I turn the channel and I suspect lots of folks do

I think interviews are so critical for the early round picks because all of the 1st round talent has the athletic ability but lots of them can't handle the fame, money, and are not willing to approach/work like a professional. This stuff isn't reflected in the draft boards and I trust Morgan for any defensive player.

Morgan likes large players and I think the pick will be BPA at OL or DL or Warren. I’d be shocked if WR was the pick at 8. I suspect they’ll draft a WR burner with a later pick.

Perhaps you are correct but it has been a long time since the Panthers had a WR core that scared anyone and this could be part of the problem. They finally found someone with Moore and the fans complained nonstop that he wasn't a true number 1 and perhaps the front office agreed and why he was traded. If Warren is there at number 8, that's going to be the pick.

Ranking WRs is so subjective and especially for rookies. I think Coker, Legette, and Sanders are solid options that I expect to be much improved in year 2. Go grab another vet WR in free agency and let's let the young guys eat. No way are our offensive weapons in the bottom 5. Sorry, but I don't agree with this.

I think the avg points per game post Bryce benching is top 12ish in the NFL.

I don't see how anyone can be disappointed with him at this point. He took on a complete dumpster fire and in a short amount of time, has the Panthers playing respectable football again. No GM hits on every player and so far, he's hit on some good ones and if this continues, the Panthers have something to look forward to. The Huddle complains about everything these days.

I don't think WR is as desperate as many here believe it is. Post-benching Bryce didn't have any issues putting points on the board and moving the ball. With an average to above average defense, the Panthers are a respective team. I suspect Coker, Legette, and Sanders will be much improved with a year under their belt. I'd love to see them grab a stud WR, but they shouldn't take on a bad contract.

I would sign Cam as a buck-up and then cut him. He needs a good humbling.

Cam was a great player and I enjoyed watching him play and for what he did for the city of Charlotte. However, I've always cringed when he speaks and I really cringe these days. Everything is about him and he has always seemed fake to me and turns it on when the cameras are on.

They aren't as replaceable as us fans like to think because we've lost a lot of games because of missed kicks.

With Bryce playing well, our offense scored plenty of points. I do think the Panthers need to add another weapon on offense and Higgins would be my preference.

This is one of the few players at a critical position that it is worth paying a king's ransom. I actually think the Panthers will be considered a playoff contender next year, but not a Super Bowl contender. I doubt this happens, but it would be an amazing pick up.
