  1. Scourton, Umanielen, Moehrig, Jackson, Phillips, and Loyd have been added to the roster in the last 18 months. That's definitely not neglecting the defense.
  2. Safety would suprise me with Ransom and Isaiah Simmons on the roster. If they can't beat out NIck Scott, that speaks volumes. If they don't go BPA, OL seems to be the biggest need with injuries that always seem to plague this position group.
  3. Panthers don't target TEs because they can't get open. Sanders is the only one that can regularly get open and he drops the ball regularly and isn't a great blocker. Tremble is the best TE and he likely wouldn't start for most teams.
  4. I don’t care what position they draft as long as the pick is a starter and immediate contributor. Good teams always hit on their first two rounds and after that, it’s a crap shoot.
  5. Morgan said he wanted better talent but he didn't want to give up draft picks. Teams always have to overpay for top talent in free agency and time will tell if this was a good move or not, but I'm happy the Panthers are being aggressive.
  6. You aren't going to get anything for XL and I'd give him another year before pulling the plug. A lot of WRs don't break out until their third year. Panthers shouldn't be dropping 20 million on any free agent unless it is a LT or pass rusher.
  7. Reality check - XL and Coker have almost the same production the past two years. I'm pulling for Coker and I think he can be a great tandem with TMac, but let's tap the breaks on giving him a big payday. The NFL is littered with WRs that have 500 yards receiving and hit a big game every once and a while.
  8. He wasn't good here and neither was Mayfield. It is what it is but it does make me question this organization's ability to develop a QB.
  9. Perhaps, but you still can't discount what Beane has done. I'm sure Allen had a voice as well re: McDermott.
  10. Beane turned around a franchise that was a perennial loser and in his 9 years running the show he's made the playoffs 8 times. He's been one of the most successful GMs during his tenure and folks here throwing shade at him makes zero sense. If Morgan can follow these footsteps, he will be a god in Carolina.
  11. Unless you have a hall of fame QB, I think defenses win champtionships and I'd follow the Seattle model. Even the best QBs can't win without a good team and our defense is a couple players away from being elite and what I'd focus on if I'm Dan Morgan.
  12. Robinson needs to stay. Tremble is the only reliable TE on the roster that I'd trust in a big moment. He isn't great, but he's fairly reliable and I don't see him going anywhere unless they make a play for a big splash TE in free agency or draft one early. Sanders has all the potential, but can't stay healthy and isn't the best blocker.
  13. I'm sure he regrets leaving Carolina becuse he was non-existent after he left and he was a key part of Carolina's offense. Great guy and I wish him the best.
  14. This is a rare situation where the fans are probably more objective than the front office because Evero should be gone and Canales should give up play calling. Neither of these things will happen because Morgan and Tepper don't want to impact any momentum now that this team is finally somewhat relevant and competing.
  15. When Tepper bought the Panthers we all expected his wealth to be an advanatage because he could basically buy any coach or GM. As we all know, it hasn't gone this way and if Tepper was smart, he'd give Harbaugh or Tomlin whatever they want to come here because these types of coaches would instantly change the culture.
  16. It will be huge if Hunt is close to 100% and can suit up this weekend.
  17. Morgan and Tillis have the Panthers trending in the right direction and it is nice to have hope. I'm still not sold on Canales and definitely not on Tepper.
  18. 10.5 dog at home is disrespectful and especially after the Panthers have already beaten them once.
  19. They need to use him more like Deebo Samuel. XL can’t thrive in a traditional role and we’ve all seen this he needs to be more of a gadget guy.
  20. Horn plays aggressively and it leads to game defining moments that propel the panthers to victories and also losses. I’ll take Horn but I’d like to see more game and situational awareness.
  21. Sadly, this is my prediction as well. Whatever is the most painful option for fans is what seems to happen with this team.
  22. It is stupid logic. If anything, having a midget QB would be an advantage for a QB sneak because everyone claims he can't see over the line so he'd be a ninja behind the line because no one can see him.
  23. It is a dumb answer. You don't have to be Cam Newton to run a QB sneak and most QBs are looking for a gap. Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, and Kyler Murray are smaller QBs and they have zero issues running a QB sneak.
  24. It has to be a sickness to watch and pull for this team. 11 penalties for 103 yards in a must win game is pathetic. Tom Brady would have a tough time winning with this headwind.
  25. You can't lose your way into the playoffs and if you expect this team to sweep the Bucs, you are going to be disappointed.
