  1. Silly to say "the Rams should have won in regulation" because of a failed two-point conversion with 6 and 1/2 minutes left to go in the game. The game would have played out completely differently if one team had a lead after this drive rather than them being tied.
  2. I'm not too concerned about that from Horn. If Jaycee is in a situation where he needs to tackle someone, he's probably in a bad situation to begin with. His job is to stop the reception from happening. Once it happens, I'm fine with the safeties cleaning up the tackling.
  3. My solution: Defenders launch with all your might into the QB's head. You're going to get flagged anyway, so punish the QBs who want to slide. It's the same 15 yards if you try to avoid and happen to graze a bitch-made QB flopping like a landed trout, or if you spear him in the chest with your helmet. So go all out. Eventually the QBs will start to question if the free 15 yards is worth the sledgehammer they're about to take to the dome.
  4. That was the worst NFL game I've seen in ages. It was completely dictated by officiating.
  5. In everyone's direction. This guy is the Angel Hernandez of NFL refs.
  6. I've seen this ref more than I've seen the entire Panthers team. Refs are WAY too involved in this game.
  7. It's like the opposite of Friday. "How the hell you gonna get promoted on your day off?"
  8. This could very well be the sloppiest game of football I've ever seen. Tonight's game brought to you by KY jelly.
  9. Best possible outcome today! It's the coming weeks we need to worry about. Tricky Saints. Dangerous Seahawks. Angry Baker. Oof. Oof. OOF!
  10. That's definitely a surprising win, and probably in the running for the greatest Panthers game, and one of the best football games in general that I've ever watching. I was watching at home, and probably the last hour I was on my feet.
  11. To be fair, he was here at a REALLY bad time for this team.
  12. Bryce has matured, and knows how to go through his progressions and look for the open deep man. Before he would just default to the "Thielen is open for 5 yards" easy button. Not having that forced Bryce to develop. So if he came back, he could fill the slot receiver role nicely. I got not animosity towards him. He wanted to go back to where he had roots for the twilight of his career; and we did him a solid. He never expected he'd have to endure "9" though. So if he wants to come back, no, objections here.
  13. I just don't understand it. After being one of the defensive bright spots last week, how do you turn around and do something so bone-headed this week? Honestly, suspension or not, I wonder if that's a cut-able offense.
  14. That's a bold accusation. Do you have high definition video evidence of this supposed offense?
