  1. The Panthers’ offensive line was a major problem this year. They were listed as second to last in terms of Pro Football Focus ratings and had to many performances that left a lot to be desired. There are many teams who have good or even premier linemen that if were included in any potential trade for Christian McCaffery, could improve this critical area and even enable the Panthers to enjoy more success in 2022 and possibly beyond. When you think about it, trading your best offensive player to improve your offense sounds impractical. But the Panthers’ protection in front of whoever is under center is in dire need of reinforcements, so pulling the trigger to fix this is a discussion that needs to be had if another team comes in with a suitable offer. As unusual as it seems, it could be the blockbuster trade to get Panthers offense on track for success in the coming years.
  2. The article stated the following : { If Willis can put everything together and a coaching staff can mold him correctly, he has a shot at being one of the new dominant quarterbacks in the NFL. One that everyone is looking for. He would be well worth the No. 6 overall selection owned by the Carolina Panthers. Whether he ends up here is another matter.} {If the Panthers go QB in the draft, I can see them drafting Willis as the long term QB answer.} Former Panthers all time great Steve Smith stated that he would like to see the Panthers draft Willis with their # 6 first round draft pick. Personally,I value his opinion more than these so called draft experts.
  3. I only have these words to express my feeling about a Robby Anderson trade. Do it. Do it. Do it.
  4. (" Carolina Trades this years #6 overall 1st round pick and 4th round pick to Philly.") (" Philly trades this years 16th Overall 1st Round Pick and 19th Overall 1st Round Pick." (" Now pick two of the follow: ") OT Trevor Penning C Tyler Linderbaum OG Kenyon Green I would make that trade in a heart beat and select any 2 of the 3 offensive linemen. My guess is that 1, perhaps 2 of them will be selected by the 16th pick.
  5. Ian Thomas is proving he is a "Lame Brain" and should fit perfectly in this current sideshow that is posing as an NFL football team.
  6. Ian Thomas, $16.5 million for 3 years. A player that would probably not be able to make another NFL team. Give me a freaking break!
  7. Until the Panthers find a long-term answer at quarterback, and fix the offensive line, it's going to be hard to see a long-term direction. But at the moment, they've chosen to go with organizational stability, rather than join a quarter of the league starting over again, picking through a diluted market of coaching options. Tepper said it would take time to fix what he viewed as a depleted roster. His actions suggest he's prepared to allow this staff time to work on it.
  8. That was a well writen article by Ellis L. Williams but sadly he seemed as lost as i am about how the Panthers can solve their quarterback problem.
  9. WalterFoot latest Mock Draft by Charlie Cambell: 6. Carolina Panthers: Ikem Ekonwu, OT, N.C. State The Panthers tried to upgrade their offensive line with veteran journeymen in the past two offseasons, and they have the price with a weak and underwhelming blocking front. Carolina needs to bring in some legit talent for for its offensive line. Here's a left tackle upgrade. Ekwonu (6-4, 320) put together an impressive 2021 regular season that earned him high grades from NFL teams. In speaking to one director of player personnel, they said their team had Ekwonu as a mid- to late first-round pick. Ekonwu has experience at both guard and tackle from the Wolfpack, but projects as being able to play left tackle in the NFL. He is a fierce and physical run blocker. While Ekonwu has some things to work on as a pass blocker, the potential is there for him to stay on the edge as a pro. Click here for a Ikem Ekonwu Scouting Report 9. Denver Broncos: Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State If Denver doesn't use this pick in a trade for a veteran quarterback, the organization could use it to add a young edge rusher or a right tackle. With the top edge rushers off the board, the Broncos could take a tackle like Cross who could start out on the right side but eventually move to left tackle for them. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound Cross looks like a future starting left tackle in the NFL and impressed team evaluators in 2021. Cross has excellent feet, athleticism, and quickness to play on the edge. For the next level, sources say Cross needs to get stronger and bigger for taking on pro linemen, but that is not abnormal. They feel after a little developmental time, Cross could be a good NFL left tackle.
  10. The Following Is An UpDate From The Viking Territory: It is unclear if the Vikings are even shopping Cousins. There are many people in the world who believe Cousins isn’t very good compared to his contractual value – and they just assume the Vikings leadership wants to trade him. No person associated with Minnesota’s current leadership has detailed plans to trade Cousins. Instead, the opposite sentiment has been voiced, especially at Kevin O’Connell’s introductory press conference last week. The new Vikings skipper expressed optimism about building Minnesota’s offense around Cousins. And those aren’t exactly words that jell with an impending trade of the person being praised. However, if Cousins refused to restructure his contract, the franchise might not have a choice. Cousins will slap a $45 million cap hit against the books in 2022, and the Vikings need money for free agency and the draft.
  11. Great looking ring. You Sir are a devoted fan.

  13. (This Statement Was Copied From A Disgusted Panthers Fan) I’ve been a Panthers fan since they entered the league years ago. I’ve never known back-to-back winning seasons, even with generational talents like Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly. We are a dynasty of pain, with a fanbase that’s satisfied with mediocrity so long as the players have a nice smile and kiss babies on the forehead. We have an actual, official fan club called The Roaring Riot who claim they are “Undefeated at Tailgaiting”, like being in your mid 40s and slamming craft beers while playing cornhole and singing Sweet Caroline is some achievement in fandom. Our former head coach bragged about winning the division three times in a row, despite winning it once with a losing record. He was given a better sendoff than Cam Newton. Our new coach resembles a gerbil and has the sensibilities to match. We fumbled the release of arguably the most important player in franchise history, but it’s only the first time we bungled a release if you don’t count Steve Smith, Deangelo Williams, Josh Norman, or Greg Olsen. We brought in the backup of the Saints just to watch the fanbase (me included) incinerate him on social media. Somehow, we still thought that Sam Darnold was an upgrade over Teddy Bridgewater. The Saints have been caught up in cheating scandals and helped the Catholic Church avoid a pedophilia scandal, yet they still somehow come out looking better than our team.
  14. That sceniro would be one of the best things that could happen to assure the Panthers success going forward.
  15. ) How did the Steelers just secure multiple future 3rd round picks? What am i missing here?
  16. It is a no brainer that the Panthers need to rebuild the present offensive and address the quarterback position. These are two things easier said than done! I can not help feeling that the Panthers will move back in the draft just far enough to select quarterback Kenny Pickett or Malik Willis and address the offensive line need with the draft pick they obtain by moving back. The key would be finding a willing trade partner and hoping no teams leap frogs in front of them for one of the top quarterbacks the Panthers desire.
  17. PFF has Reddick ranked 31st overall on the market and projects his incoming deal to be a three-year pact at an annual average of $11.67 million. So the question is, will the Panthers fork that over? With a fairly limited amount of cap space and a handful of areas that need addressing, Reddick may have to get that deal elsewhere.
  18. The Panthers 2021 season began with an inconsistent kicking game. Before Zane Gonzalez, they employed and later cut Joey Slye and Ryan Santoso. Gonzalez eventually established himself as one of the most consistent Panthers players. He made 20 of 22 field-goal attempts, including his last 17 tries. He was also 22 of 23 on extra-point attempts. Reports are they hopes to bring Gonzalez back this offseason after a Week 15 quad injury landed him on injured reserve. If they do, then the Panthers should feel confident in their kicking game. Read more at: https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article258257485.html#storylink=cpy
  19. I would get pumped for the upcoming 2022 season if the Panthers GM Scott Fitterer could somehow pull a rabbit out of the hat by using the 6th overall draft pick and possible trades to successfully stop the teams current downward trend.
  20. Burns is a quality player that could be elite when it’s all said and done. But he does leave plenty of sacks out on the field and gap discipline against the run is another area of his game that needs improvement. Having said that,I am in favor of trading him for draft picks to keep from paying him the big salary he will eventually command, if creative deals can be worked out.
  21. Stafford was with Derroit 12 seasons, only played in and lost three playoff games with the Lions. I would be surprised if Stafford who is not mobile, playing behind the Panthers rag tag OL and the inept coaching staff, could have elevated them enough to make the playoffs
  22. Jaycee gets a lot of advice about training, staying fit and the NFL in general from his father Joe Horn, a former NFL great himself, who played mostly for New Orleans in a 12 year career, so this is a big plus for him going forward.
