Ric Flair is a phoney and fake that will support anyone that pays him. Remember when we played SF several years ago and he gave them a locker room speech telling they had always been his favorite team and hoped they beat the Carolina Panthers?

Belichick is a master at taking away one thing an offense does well. And he did on Thursday night, making Pitts a non-factor. Pitts had three catches for 29 yards.

I would not rate next Sundays game the second most anticipated home game in the teams history, but you can bet your bottom dollar Bank of America Stadium is going to be electric. Former head coach Ron Rivera returning with the Washington Football Team only heightens the level of intrigue. It’s going to be an occasion that nobody in attendance will forget. And the noise when Cam Newton is introduced will shake the stadium to its foundations.

The Falcons showed last night they have obvious needs all over the roster, including at the position group the Falcons have invested a lot of draft capital in in recent years: the offensive line. After years of neglecting the o-line in the draft, the Falcons selected four blockers in the first three rounds over the last three years. Put another way, Atlanta has selected eight players on Days 1 and 2 since 2019. Half of them have been offensive linemen. Former general manager Thomas Dimitroff tried so hard to fix the offensive line quickly that in 2019, the Falcons took two offensive linemen in the first round. Dimitroff traded Atlanta's 2019 second and third-round picks to acquire another first-round selection to choose Kaleb McGary. Before him, the Falcons drafted Chris Lindstrom at No. 14. In 2020, Atlanta picked center Matt Hennessy in the third round. This past spring, new general manager Terry Fontenot added guard Jalen Mayfield to the mix in the third round. Lindstrom, McGary, Hennessy and Mayfield make up four of the five starters up front for the Falcons. The unit hasn't worked out as the Atlanta front office hoped. That came to a point Thursday night when the Patriots recorded four sacks, 12 quarterback hits and six tackles for loss. It seemed like the New England front-seven spent a majority of the game in the Atlanta backfield. Despite the draft capital spent on offensive linemen, the unit was a major question mark heading into the 2021 season. To see them struggle isn't surprising or new.

Maybe they really like the idea of voting on who makes up the board. It makes one feel in power. Well, it sure as poo shouldn’t, because there are 501,000 shares currently owned, with another 300,000 being made in this offering. So, their$300 will give them the voting power of 0.000125 percent — and will can keep getting diluted forever, because the available float the Packers can change whenever they feel like it.

There is probably some fans that would jump at the chance if it happened during a winning season, then turn around and threaten to sue after the Panthers had a down year or two, claiming they were somehow mislead. .

Buying Packers ‘stock’ is the best scam in sports Become and ‘owner’ today, and waste your money! James Dator Nov 16, 2021, 12:57pm EST It’s a huge day if you like giving away money to a billion dollar organization and getting nothing in return. That’s right folks, your chance to become an “owner” of the Green Bay Packers is here! On Tuesday the Packers opened up shares of their “common stock” for the first time in 10 years. It gives anyone the chance to say they’re part owner of an NFL team for the low, low price of $300. Alternatively, you could just lie about it and tell people you part own an NFL team, because you’re pretty much getting the same thing out of it. So, what does that $300 get you? What can you expect as a part owner of one of the proudest teams in NFL history? Nothing at all! It doesn’t matter if NFL profits soar, or if the Packers become the most valuable sports franchise in the world — the team is very quick to tell you that you won’t make anything. Heck, it’s right there on the landing page. So, by the Packers own admission, the “stock” isn’t stock. The only way you can call it stock is if you ignore the common sense meaning of the term stock. Get it? Dig a little further in and they make it clear that you can’t sell, trade, or transfer your stock to anyone — except an immediate family member in the event of a death. So, once again, not a stock. Surely you must get some really sweet deals for being a shareholder, right? Hell no you don’t! Do you think this is some sort of utopian co-op? That’s commie trash. You don’t get tickets, don’t get the rights to any preferential seating, you don’t get a say on any hirings or the football direction of the team. You DO however get the right to vote on who makes up the board, from a pre-approved list of people sent to shareholders. Also a certificate, because who doesn’t like a good certificate? Also, there’s a $35 additional handling fee for the certificate. You didn’t think your $300 investment would actually get you the certificate, right? Maybe you really like the idea of voting on who makes up the board. It makes you feel in power. Well, it sure as poo shouldn’t, because there are 501,000 shares currently owned, with another 300,000 being made in this offering. So, your $300 will give you the voting power of 0.000125 percent — and you can keep getting diluted forever, because the available float the Packers can change whenever they feel like it, wee! Don’t get too discouraged though. If you decide voting and keeping up with the Packers is just too much, you can always just ignore their messages and not vote. Then after five years the team can revoke your share and pay you the handsome sum of $0.025. Who knows what two cents will look like in the future? That’s fun to imagine, right?! The new float will raise $90 million for the Packers, with plans to make further renovations to the stadium. In the 2011 float the funds were used to make improvements to Lambeau Field as well, presumably without raising ticket prices. Joke’s on you for believing that, because despite getting fans to pay for stadium improvements by calling them “owners” the team still took taxpayer money, and will keep taking it until 2031! As for ticket prices, surely raising all this money multiple times in team history was a brilliant way to pay it forward. A wonderful world where those who could afford shares offset the cost of rising ticket prices for families. That had to have happened, right? Hell no! Ticket prices have soared over the last decade, and now the Packers have the fourth most expensive tickets in the entire NFL! So don’t miss your opportunity today to become an owner of the Green Bay Packers. The only investment I can think of worse than spending $300 on a share of the Packers, is spending $250 on this vintage 1992 Flowbee, which was a vacuum that cuts your hair. Actually, scratch that, the Flowbee will save you money on haircuts with every single use. A couple of years and it pays for itself. The Packers stock will never pay for itself, you just get to brag about being one of 800,000 other rubes. But at least you get a cool certificate.

If what i am reading about the "Stock" is factual, why any sane person would buy a "Stock" that is not a "Stock" and actually has no value is beyond me.

Forget all these meanless stats. Simply put, the Panthers are a better all around football team than the Washington club and should win Sunday if they play like they are capable. The fact that Cam will be starting or playing a lot should be an emotional uplift and prevent a flat performance. The players and coaches will be sensing a possible playoff berth, which should give them an extra incentive to win.

I have an attitude toward Matt Stafford ever since he let it be known he did not want to come to the Panthers.

I know this will not happen because the NFL doesn't work this way but it would be nice to see PJ and Cam both play for periods in all of the remaining games. -

I hope Panther fans that are geting on a present super high, will not come crashing down to earth to hard if Cam is not the saviour they expect him to be. -

Carolina Panthers agree to terms with Cam Newton.

With the joke of an offensive line, this years Panthers team is going nowhere. Obtaining Cam Newton is an upgrade at the postion but if he is capable of getting us a couple more wins it will only hurt our chance in the draft. While i wish Cam good luck, i cannot see that his signing will be beneficial to the Panthers in the long run. -
Finding and hiring a football coach is an imperfect science. Building the perfect NFL coach isn’t any easier. All you have to do is look at the hiring and firing numbers in the NFL over the last five years to realize that. Since the end of the 2016 season, the league’s 32 teams have hired 33 head coaches. Nine teams are on their second swing at the coaching piñata during that period. Every owner and general manager has an idea of what they want in a head coach and how to find the best man for the job. They spend weeks researching and interviewing prospective candidates. They talk to dozens of people who have employed them, worked with them, coached against them. And yet, 33 coaching hires in five years.

I just looked into my crystal ball, once owned by the great "Nostra Dumb Azz and it said Arizona would beat Carolina Sunday.

Even if we had taken Fields, i am not sure he would have reached any of his potential behind our pitiful OL and coaches that seem to have no clue on game planing. Fields would have probably ended up as shell shocked here as Sam Darnold became with the Jets.
