  1. Great video. I have to agree with it all really. I also find him as unlikable. Start stocking up on alcohol now, its going to be a long season...again. Us playing the Browns week one just gives him the perfect chance to get his wish and then lose focus again. Le sigh
  2. I have been in this for the long haul for a long time. I don’t need to rationalize it or pump it up, it can do that for itself or not. The owner is an issue and the head coach is an issue. Doing in year 3 what they should have in year one in a bunch of spots does not wipe away the fact we almost traded for Watson, have another reject QB under center again and much of the coaching is improved but still subpar. It stinks but we are in a rough spot as fans. The owner needs a lot more experience and that is if that even matters because sometimes it doesn’t. Either way there will be football on Sundays and life rolls on. Hope and pray or cruse and yell. It won't really matter on the field, that is all just what we each find interesting in this thing.
  3. Well we went with the polar opposite this year with an OC that is trying to resurrect his near-dead career. We will see, I am not expecting just slightly better than what we did with Brady. Brady was badly overpromoted but he is young and has his career ahead of him still. The way Rhule runs his team is pathetic and it sounds like a fair take given how we did after Brady was fired.
  4. Dookie is dookie. Switching up the texture doesn’t change the taste. I would and will be more excited to see what Corral has and where he is at later this year. Until then nothing has changed really.
  5. Panther's fans wanting a winning season are going to get a different type of shock this year...
  6. It's fine but still funny. That guy is just happy to be coaching again and more than as just at a position. All these guys are interviewing for their next pay contract this year anyways.
  7. QB coach in 2020 with Jax and a consultant in Dallas last year...not even a full coach but he got let in the meeting room lol. I don’t get the love outside of desperation. That guy has been going nowhere for years but he will save our season? That is a bad bet. The McAdoo is a good NFL coach is another Sam is basically a rookie type rationale from people who allow so much unnecessary disappointment.
  8. Sam and PJ are not competition, they are bad QBs taking up roster spots. Baker isn't competition he is the guy brought in to save Rhule's job even though the first 2 tries at leftovers proved to not be good enough. The only competition worth watching is how Correl does or if we will be picking another new QB in the next draft.
  9. Trade him for a 6th while we eat all of his salary at best. He is a backup but no one is spending much on him. I just hope we don't just end up cutting him and eating it all anyways but it is possible and better then keeping him and pushing Corral further down the depth cart or having to watch another game with him under center.
  10. Sad but true. We need to see enough of Corral in 2022 before we pick in 2023. That is not desperation but responsible and positive planning for beyond 'saving my arse' mode that Tepper created by bringing back Rhule this year.
  11. Miracle / Continue to do what we are doing? Nothing has changed to me but a new number with the same outcome. Just fire Rhule and play Corral as much as possible before we draft in 2023.
  12. Once the high wears off then it's time to stare into the ugly truth.
  13. He had to know this was going to fall this way regardless of how. 4 bad years and he will get a shot as a backup. That $19 million is a hell of a crying pillow though.
  14. Because he is not Baker, Sam or PJ so there is still a chance he could be a good or better QB on a team that has been without a good QB for years.
  15. They did it to themselves. What did yall expect to happen after there was no trades to talk about.
  16. Hated Baker in Cleveland, as person and player. The hype here revolves around him being better than Sam which is a sadly low bar and pure desperation of Rhule's 3rd losing year which is unavoidable. Until Corral gets a shot I feel the same as I did last year, IDGAF and just want to see Rhule fired so we can start talking about more than crap level football.
  17. We are picking in the top 10 again. That has more to do with the long term QB plans than the noise from today. So much fluff on yet another reject. Last year was the basically a rookie Sam. This year it's Baker took the Browns to the playoffs. So did Anderson lol.
  18. Just play Corral after week 6 and stop making us watch rejects.
  19. 1. Whatever, Rhule getting fired is what 2022 is all about. Ask then.
  20. Another QB I don't want to see play in a Panther's uni. Whatever gets Rhule fired in the end I guess. I just hope Corral gets significant time over this turd by the end of the season.
  21. Josh always was a headcase, he just had 2 good years of football and one was with us on a SB run. I don't think loving football is absolutely necessary. Working hard and treating it as a profession in the NFL is IMO. Maybe that is not true with every position but I am fine with it from a CB if they put in the work regardless of love of the game. That just sounds like old-school coach speak this is outdated. Right up there with who needs water on hot days and play through serious injuries that are a lot more than just a lot of pain.
  22. I think the hate comes from what a large group wished it was and not what it became. If the gameplay and franchise settings were where I wished they were I would still be playing. Deffinatly hate on the game but not the player...at least for me.
  23. TMJ or Chinn at SS would be great to see. I know Chinn had a great rookie season but we shifted his position last year and it was not great. I think we all hope that Corral will be thr guy but I don't want to jinx it, just be a rookie and better than Sam. I don't want to use break and Horn with any hope, jusy hold my breath and hope for the best which is enough. Also a top 10 pick damn sure had better show up big time...looking at you Brown even though I know he is not put into a spot to do so, that is really on the coaches and past GM. I'm going to say the guy who does not regardless of hope is Thomas. I think he really is what he has shown over the years.
