This is far from over. Liking these off-season moves but there’s always room to Fug it up.

Agent89 was 33 years old when he left blood and guts all over Carolina. That said, Smitty is Smitty. -
Someone with more futbol knowledge than me tell me why someone as catalytic as Reyna saw fewer and fewer minutes as the season went on. I feel like every time he was on the field he was making plays. What gives?

Thank You (a note of appreciation to the members of this forum)

Good afternoon to everybody except @4Corners -
Boom or bust is why I left him off the list but he was a strong consideration for those “boom” moments.
-
He’s definitely earned a backup spot at minimum. Doubt he’ll ever be a legit franchise guy for us but I do agree he’s never had a fair shake. We’ve seen he can at least be average with a good O-line.
-
It’s a testament to how bad the offense was as a whole. No one really deserved it but I could vouch for Sam here as he didn’t scree the pooch bad enough.

My list: 2022 Roaring Riot Awards Winners Offensive Player of the Year - Yikes…you’d have to go lineman here but for sake of avoiding the double dip I’ll just say “pass.” Defensive Player of the Year - Frankie Luvu Rookie of the Year - Icky Most Valuable Panther - Bozeman Play of the Year - DJ’s end zone catch (and subsequent helmet removal penalty) Thomas Davis Panther of the Year Award - D. Brown

Let’s hear your nominees for 2022! Here is last year’s list for reference: 2021 Roaring Riot Awards Winners Offensive Player of the Year - DJ Moore Defensive Player of the Year - Haason Reddick Rookie of the Year - Chuba Hubbard Most Valuable Panther - Haason Reddick Play of the Year - "I"M BAAAAACK!" Thomas Davis Panther of the Year Award - DJ Moore Note: How/why the hell did we let the “MVP” walk…

Correct. And for clarification, my argument is you need multiple pieces. Not just a stellar RB who can do it all. Not just a better than average QB. Both can make you competitive but in isolation they are not going to win you championships.
-
Disagree. Would have likely been a very close game with a health Mr Irrelevant.
-
Eagles could have certainly been the better team overall but having your QB1 and QB2 go down in the moment doesn’t leave much for fair competition at that point. But that still doesn’t mean that CMC isn’t a game changer simply because he couldn't “win the game” for them in that moment.
-
I get that, but having your starting and backup QB get knocked out of a championship level game doesn’t necessarily equate to a player like CMC being invaluable because he can’t win the game for them in that moment. That’s a bit of a stretch.
-
Well you have folks saying they lost the championship game because they didn’t have a stellar QB and you’re saying they went on a 12 win streak because of the change at QB. So which one is it?
-
They were 3-3 and won 12 consecutive games after he signed. Purely coincidental though….championship caliber teams are generally 500.
-
Maybe so but that’s more of a nod to the Eagles than anything else
-
The only game this happened in for San Fran was yesterdays game which was due to both QBs going down with injury. You look at the 12-13 games before that and CMC was elevating everyone around him. If you want confirmation, look at Kittle’s numbers before AND after the CMC trade and get back with me
-
Doesn’t prove anything. CMC functions as a receiver grossly 30-40% of the time. He has consistently had the best hands on the team. You don’t think Aaron Rodgers would give his left nut for CMC in his stable?
-
Congrats. You just described every player in the history of ever.
