  1. Agreed. Im rooting for both Corral and Ickey. They’re both exciting players. At the end of the day, I just want my team to win and I want my team to be relevant. I love the Carolina’s and love being from NC. Them being good allows me, a transplant in Atlanta, to boast and brag about how my home is better than others, so I’m hoping it all works.
  2. All of this. I dont believe the team is going anywhere, and if they do *shrug* Life goes on.
  3. Again, I love Cam and think he’s the best QB this franchise has had, and overall is a great QB. What he did with the tools he was dealt, is nothing short of amazing. I don’t agree with you that he’s better than Watson, but that’s cool; we just think differently. I hope Corral and Ickey are the answer, and if not, I hope we’re in position to grab a QB next year. I would’ve taken the sure thing, but it’s spilled milk now. We’ll see how it goes.
  4. I love Cam, and think he’s a great QB, but Deshaun is better. I have no problem admitting that. He’s also been more consistent and if we’re to go by his 2020, he’s ascending and hasn’t even reached his peak. This team is too good to be top 5 in the draft next year. I also don’t think they’re good enough to contend, as I see 6-11 or 7-10 as our most likely end. If Corral busts, then we will be “crippling” the team anyways to get in range for a QB. Lord forbid if Ickey busts. Watson is the sure thing. But, it’s all moot now. We’ve chosen our path. I hope it works.
  5. Man, I know Watson would have balled in Carolina. I wish it would’ve worked out to where we got him. So many fans would’ve been onboard. Oh well.
  6. Watson, easy. An elite QB just entering his prime vs a guy who more than likely won’t reach the levels of Watson. Yea, give me Watson. Just hoping Corral and the new LT pan out at this point.
  7. Nah, my baby brother is a State graduate. I have to root for them off that alone. My name is a play on my alma mater, NC A&T.
  8. Yea, he had a pretty good look on that last layup. They’ll get a much motivated Warriors team game 2, with Dray getting tossed.
  9. I like Corral. I really want him to win the job, and be our QB for the next 15 years I hate Ole Miss (Hail State!), but I root for kids that either come from, or played in the great state of Mississippi
  10. Do I have a history of doing that? I’ve never called anyone on this section of the forum one, and I’ve only used it on 2 posters in the TB: Good luck to your boy Darnold lol.
  11. lol Jordan is nothing like any of the guys you named. Jordan was cocky, confident, and would let you know he was great. He acted like, you know, superstars act. He’s more like Phillip Rivers and Cam than any of them. But yea, if you don’t like Rivers, then you’re not going to like Corral. Can’t wait to witness it.
  12. Based on what I know about Corral, I look forward to seeing how you approach him for years to come. From what my best friend back in MS, who attended Ole Miss and knows of him well, he’s as much confident and sure of himself as our past QB. We’ll see if you and others are consistent. Also, PJ is nowhere near as brash and outward. You only dislike PJ because others like him. That’s sad, but that’s always been your MO. For some reason, you just want to be opposite of everyone; a contrarian
  13. Aren’t you a Corral fan? Corral has that same “swag” that you hate. So, what’s really the reason you dislike Cam? Also, Darnold has been given just as many chances as you claim Cam has. This is year 4, right? He’s been who he was going to be since USC.
  14. I’m at a bar now. I’ll probably be like that tonight. Thank God my little bro is in town to DD. Yea, I was happy with the pick last night
  15. My bad. I was wrong. Thought Seattle had just picked him
  16. Damn, I didn’t know Cross hadn’t gone yet
  17. I laugh everytime I see this. Definitely had a night or two like this back in the day
  18. Thank goodness. Didn’t want him in the south
  19. He has played better than your guy, Darnold, has ever played.
  20. Man, I rock with Robby. Seems like a good dude that really put in the work to get to this level, and got it out the mud. Undrafted and has made it this far If they find a suitable trade, I’d be cool with him going, but I’d be cool with him staying as well. He’s much better than last year. I know it was tough with Darnold behind the center. It was tough for every receiver.
  21. Robby and Darnold cannot coexist. Robby knew this before Darnold stepped in the building. Id rather Robby than Darnold, as Robby is the better player, but if you can get something of decent value for Robby then you do it. Im afraid we’re stuck with Darnold this year.
