Seals are in the business of taking sand, water, and pain to break the minds and bodies of tryouts......business is GREAT. If within 3 miles of water always pick seals. I've had dealing with many different groups as a contractor. Two different times I was in real danger. I did not ask for the seals or rangers or the best of all delta. They would to gather up and form a plan of attack that could take hours........ I asked for the Marines, they are legit psychos and don't need any plan or recon. They would go though the problem area without any of that silly "planing" of waiting til dark or calling in a 155 or what they are up against or drone nonsense.

browns are also back to the old browns with what maybe the biggest mistake in the history of the league with trading for tiny towel Watson and giving him 230million, ALL while you had a QB who broke the 30 year curse and wanted to be there in Mayfield. They still have loads of talent, but the trade is the largest mistake since the walker trade. Thing is with Dave, Dan, Evero, and BY is all are super young with most arrows pointing up.....

BREAKING: Panthers making defensive staff changes
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've been after Kris Richard since the rhule hire, Im a big fan. He's up there with wilks as DB coaches go. -
He played 5x better than I thought was going to happen and I was a draft Ladd lad. For fugs sakes give him a off-season huddle, remember he was injuried for most of this past, that set him back plenty. Hes a rookie!!! I believe he corrects a few of his issues this coming year, if there's one group this staff knows its WRs. HC Dave was a WR coach for years, OC brad was TBs WR coach, and the current WR coach is a HOFer and proven coach as well. They have all the skills for this group.

This is his one shot at big money, right @kungfoodude .........

I honestly thought Frank, the all-star cast, and rookie BY could content for the NFC south title(run the ball lean on dfense stopping), thus made the play-offs I gave them like a 25% chance, just didn't realize the over all lack of talent even with the FA signees. Now there are some good areas- OL and the OL staff. Chubba. There's a young group of pass catchers that proved they are capable- Coker, sanders and yes XL. Draft capital is back and have 8 picks in the first 160 or so spots(right when the talent falls off). Horn stayed healthy for nearly the whole year(I think if playoffs, horn would still be out there). Defense can only go up after a season of no Dbrown, shaq, and many others missing games. Not that I think they can double up wins next year, but finally there is some form of team here. Dave, Dan, Evero, and BY all have youth and are showing the talents too. All got better this year and there's still plenty of room to continue.

Did Bryce Young have any tipped balls at the LOS??

It not over by my mind, but its closer to balanced than I thought possible.... -
Did Bryce Young have any tipped balls at the LOS??
Basbear replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
you are right and that's a good point. I've been hard on Dave and BY. Each are young and learning, Im honest in saying I had no hope for the pairing. Each showed at times growth, moxie(lolols), and enough to give me some first feel hope. I was super impressed with the 4th game winning drives that others fail to finish. Both had to deal with poor defense and lack of talent, many times they over came it. Im guilty on all counts.... I'd like to use my panther prayer for judgement please.... -

Bro I ate the "Hes not tough enough crow last year, same this..." and the "playing better than evar thought capable of" pie this year. Not like Im holding to hope about being right, but this is not over even with the late season spread he laid out. I will happily eat more crow if he continues to play better. I've already joined the "he needs another weapon" group. -
Bryce Young can have a breakout season in 2024

Many have stated just BPA and they are right per normal. I feel the Panthers need to use at least one of the first three picks on a WR or TE, in fact I fell it must be either the 1st or 2nd. BY needs another young weapon to grow with. Even spend the remaining picks on D/BPA and keep a eye in the late rounds at ST.......I normally am 100% using picks on ST, but when none are under contract, change the rules....

Tremble should be cheap and I think he's only 24 years old. Him and Chubba are best bros form what I heard. One of those early in weight room, late in the film room guys too. If he's cheap, Ill all for it. Panthers need 3-4 TEs anyway, I think Dave nearly ran 2TEs or 12 80% of the time and that number would have been higher if not for injuries. At min draft one and sign one.

Did Bryce Young have any tipped balls at the LOS??

Does anyone have a list, Ive tired to look and I get no where.... Its not that important, just off-season chatter and just one thing more thing I was wrong about BY..... -
Did Bryce Young have any tipped balls at the LOS??
Basbear replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dang I think you are right, that 97 dude that was killing IOL.... my mind is not worth a flip..... I sorta remember now, but can not confirm... I still think he had basically 0 for the whole year.. -
I do not see how he makes to 8. But I have seen a couple good board makers list him at 15th 12th and others. I feel drafting him with heavy defense would be the best plan for Dan and Panthers. Just need one more elite TE or WR, then load up on D with BPA in mind.

Did Bryce Young have any tipped balls at the LOS??

In both 1st and 2nd week, or just one? Week one feel like 3 years ago to me.... -
I thought he would struggle greatly here, among other struggles.. But for the life of me, I do not recall even 1 tipped pass across the DL. Anyone back that up?? Weird that Baker mayfield had huge issues here and the second he was another team, he was cured...... Guess All I have left is a lack of QB sneaks........
-
Sooooo no one wants to interview Evero this year, hmmm I wonder why?? Guess tepper doesn't have to increase his salary either.

Chuck was alllll over Parsons. I thought he would be meh MLB and had Jamin "On my third team" Davis above him........maybe my biggest draft fumble ever. I did not foresee Parsons becoming a TJ watt level problem as a edge. I know he's didn't have a big year like the past, but he can only play the Panthers once during the season....

3/10 Im feel in the feeling out process.....but its up from 0....

A Perspective of the Roster (Red Meat to chew on)
Basbear replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
There is some meat and I dare say OL and CB are on good terms. Sure center, but the other spots and depth......what not to like. I say toss Zavala name out there in trade pools, lewis and hunt are young studs not going anywhere. I feel Zavala would challenge for a staring role on some teams, just like BY what a bounce back. He's going to be wasted here on the bench. If they resign Michael Jackson(100% should within cap reasons), the CB spot should be 2025 ready. They need to figure out ST too. Good post and Im be back... -
It's got to be pearce Jr or a Georgia dawg.(both are edges and scary) Plenty have mocked the combine, but I feel its key for this draft. I think Carter will measure small, even with all the PEDs those guys take. I think 10 DL will be in the first 22 picks. *But there are stud OTs still there, some team would trade up for campbell or Simmons. Banks as well, that 8th spot is looking like the best spot for a trade up for a LT. There should be heavy action here, no BS. So take the best DLman or best offer for a OT stud.

Hes lost a level or two and not worth the 30+ million he's due. Just a bad fit for the Panthers. KC is maybe the only team that puts up with more trouble players than any other teams. After he was traded to Miami, he's lived in the strip clubs since and had about 4 kids during, plus remember his goal is to be a porn star after NFL...... He's lost that speed demon edge, not longer top 3-5 more like DJ Moore 20s. Again a bad fit for the queen city and building a young team.
