  1. Awesome! Thanks for the input. I didn't think proper owners were untouchable (especially in a city as large as Rock Hill) but it definitely helps to hear it from a professional.
  2. The struggle is real. He so desperately wants to be the smartest guy in the room, but it's usually the opposite...
  3. If you own a property in a city you can do with it as you please??? You really believe that? I know cities/counties where if the grass grows over a certain limit they will fine you, cut it and bill you. Cities certainly have rules/regulations that property owners have to abide by. There are parts of where I live were buildings must be brick and signs can't be over 20 feet high despite who owns it.
  4. Yeah my point exactly. A lot of smaller contractors/middle men get screwed over in these pissing contests by the rich.
  5. And you know this for a fact or are you just talking out of your ass like always? Don’t bother answering as we all know the answer… You were actually responding to LG’s comment about how capitalism is set up in the USA.
  6. Unfortunately that’s not always the case. All they can do is try to sue a bankrupt entity to get what is rightfully their’s. I’m not saying this was the case with Tepper’s situation, but it happens more than it should in business. Go do some more Googling and you will see…
  7. Yeah his top playmaker got hurt and his QB was becoming a shell of himself. Hard to get the offense going with that happening. Honestly, benching Eli was probably the right call it just pissed off the fans because of Eli’s history. It’s interesting because OBJ was such a weapon in NYG, but Cleveland could never really figure out how to use him to his maximum potential… Is McAdoo the next great OC? I seriously doubt it, but I think he is a serviceable one. Should be a nice jump from Joe Brady and the 2nd worst OL in the league. I’m just hoping he knows what he is talking about scouting QBs and is capable of developing Corral.
  8. So far he has hired the right people, signed the right FAs, drafted the right players, and is saying the right things this offseason. That's about all he can do this early in the offseason. If he listens to these vets he hired like Wilks, Campen, McAdoo etc.. he may have a turning point as a HC.
  9. Oh I think he doesn't have what it takes, but it wouldn't hurt the kid to sit and observe for a while. Maybe he learns enough to be a capable backup, but I doubt it. He flashed enough potential from time to time on the Jets and yes even last year to possible have a career jumping from team to team's depth chart collecting a check.
  10. No distractions for the team. Sam will pretty much keep his mouth shut and do what the coaches ask him. Still younger and might do him some good to sit as a backup for a while and try to learn to read defenses better.
  11. All new starters except one means we will probably start off shaky, but I think by year end our OL will be in the top half of the league treading up with Campen developing them. Corbet and Bozeman should be decent starters as their history shows and Icky's potential alone makes him better than any LT we played last year.
  12. I've heard Darnold get mentioned in a Jimmy G trade. He would not be a threat to Lance, played football in California and at one time Shanahan was interested in trading with the Jets for him.
  13. Summary- it's the offseason and trades/info are going to get repeated on multiple posts/threads. That's just how it goes on message boards centered around NFL teams that currently aren't playing any games. Also we could be interested in one player one day and not the next (rosters change, opinions change etc..) that's just part of us doing our due diligence. Lastly, Sizzle still doesn't know what the hell he is talking about, avoids direct questions (usually because they catch him in a lie or prove him wrong), and will continue to deflect and use emojis....
  14. I don't think McAdoo is our answer, just might be better than Rhule (definitely has more experience). We have been engaged in almost every QB available with Stafford, Russ, Watson etc... Steve Smith and others closed to the Panthers organizations reported we were going to trade for Baker BEFORE Corral dropped and we traded to get him. I think our staff refused to start the season with just Sam and PJ, so Corral may have made some satisfied on our staff. Regardless Fitt himself has said we made add another vet to our QB room, so unfortunately that puts Baker and Jimmy back on the table if the price is right. I'm not sure how much good it does for Cleveland to drum up any support for Mayfield at this point. Maybe if a starter gets hurt or a team somehow becomes QB needy then yeah maybe try to drive up his price some, but as of right now most teams aren't interested in what they are selling unless he comes cheap. I do agree the Rhule hate is overblown on here. He was definitely been in over his head, but hopefully he can learn/develop into a decent coach. If not, I'm not sure I want to waste many more years on him figuring it out.
  15. How about it's actually not that hard to believe that a professional staff would have different opinions on a player as polarizing as Baker? IF our entire staff was itching to get him, we would have him by now. I have no idea if McAdoo wants him or not and no one thinks he is the savior. He is just appears to be one of the smarter people in the room when it comes to QBs on this staff (not saying much) which makes sense since he is the OC and Rhule is still relatively new in the NFL. McAdoo is experienced and been on several different franchises at this point in his career. No one was really wanting him as our next OC/Pontential HC, but compared to Rhule he is better equipped at this point in both their careers.
  16. You called her out as FOS. Why do you do some research and show us WHY she is? You just make these dumb blank statements and expect others to do all the research for you.
