Ok this is starting to feel like a trap game. I hope we don’t overlook them… Also thoughts go out to Vinny. I hope he gets his health under control. -
Honestly it might be Grier at this point. PJ has had more experience/chances to show what he can do and it’s very inconsistent. Grier seems to be more of the “take what the defense gives you” kind of player, which is fine for a backup. He also might have a little more potential IMO. With that said, my feelings would not be hurt if we sighed someone else and cut both Grier and Walker.

If we passed on Fields AND Sewell for a CB at 8, I might have actually cried. They can justify Fields because they invested in Darnold, but a LT of Sewell’s caliber when we have Erving penciled in is inexcusable.

Yeah he is definitely a bust….. they should take our late round pick for him to get something out of him.

Average would honestly be a big step up. If they have him ranked 15-17 of the starting QBs this year I would say he is trending up…

I would let Robbie go if Marshall looks legit this year. Moore is our 1, Marshall 2, and Smith is our slot. That’s our WR foundation and trickle in some cheap FAs and mid/late round picks for depth. Unless Robbie takes some huge discount, which I don’t see happening….

Yeah because because we gave Erving a stupid contract doesn’t mean he has to start. He honestly would be a solid backup (G and T) and it should keep him healthy until needed.
