  1. System QB. I've looked at some of his tape and he's got a noodle arm. Be proud of me that I'm down on the NCAA leader in passing.
  2. We lost this trade the moment the Bears accepted. That's not retrospective. I felt the same way then.
  3. I KNOW! Crazy right? It seems like I've said this before. It's like in construction, trying to put the roof on house before the foundation has been poured or have the walls built. But hey, the Tepper-era Panthers are going to be unconventional, right?
  4. Why? He's a 30-something backup for a reason. I think most of us just wants to see something resembling a functional offense today. That is the insufferable low bar Bryce Young has set for this team. Crap, a passing first down is a victory! If Dalton looks bad today, so be it. If we lose, so be it. I'll be happen if the offense can sustain a few drives, put some points on the scoreboard and not let the game get out of hand before halftime. Again, Bryce Young level expectations for our Panthers.
  5. I'm not sure Dalton can deliver a victory, but at least the game should be competitive enough to watch all four quarters.
  6. Trade Bryce, get more draft capital and acquire weapons for a QB in the 2026 draft. Sign a FA QB or extend Dalton, depending on his play going forward, on a 3 year deal (final year option). Why is this so freaking difficult???
  7. I saw a clip with Albert Breer and he said that opposing team's defenses all are seeing the same three thing out of Bryce: 1) Can't/won't throw the ball deep. (shrinks the field defensively) 2) Bad vision in the center of the field. (could been related to his height) 3) Drops his eyes the moment he feels pressure to avoid hits (real or imagined)
  8. I mean, we could always draft another mediocre rookie, right. Yes, the '25 QB class is about as 'meh' as it gets.
  9. Good, now Byrce knows how I've felt the past 18 games watching his sorry arse play.
  10. Get weapons and draft the QB in '26. Load up the roster, then get your QB. Hmmmm, this sounds so familiar. Yes, "wait another year." I'm baaaaaack!
  11. 100% agree. Saddle Canales with a rookie QB nest season--rinse and repeat of the past couple of years. If Canales can get us to around .500 with a JAG veteran next season and show improvement with Dalton this season, then we can move forward with a rookie in '26 knowing he's our coach for the foreseeable future.
  12. We gotta find our next Peppers and this draft has two pass rushing studs. It would be a shame to pass that up for a middling QB.
  13. Agreed all except the Allar. But even if it's that close in reality, I'll be satisfied.
  14. 2026 draft. https://media.video-cdn.espn.com/motion/2024/0914/ss_20240914_204321727_2639348/ss_20240914_204321727_2639348_360p30_1464k.mp4
  15. Of course he will because it's the wrong fugg'n move.
  16. Keep an eye on this man, Nico Iamaleava from Tennessee.
  17. Trade back, get more capital at skill positions and wait until 2026 to draft a QB. Let's try this again and don't FUG IT UP THIS TIME! (45catfans' playbook for the 2023/2024 draft that the team totally screwed up).
  18. South Park red rocket? If you haven't seen the episode, it's when a dog is on it's back and gets his belly scratched. Presto! Red rocket!
  19. Plain and simple, the guy plays scared. Can't win like that.
  20. One completion over 10 yards and that barely was so.
  21. The bold I will agree with. Ickey struggled because of the revolving door at IOL, being put on a island with no help and with a rookie QB who held onto the ball too long that also flushed himself into sacks. Ickey had his own struggles, but they weren't isolated and were a result of dysfunctional, under-talented, beaten up, supporting cast.
