false. there are numerous threads analyzing plays in his first two years where he gave up blocks and quit on routes, and an obvious general lack of effort - teammates literally called him out. i’m surprised people forgot all this…it was a valid concern yea he stepped up for one year it seems (last year), but this this notion is not new.

hopefully people will realize you can’t just plug in a good QB on a garbage team and franchise and expect results but they probably won’t

not at all what I said. DJ could be playing better if he wanted to. he also has had this motivation issue in the past quite a bit if you’ve paid attention to his career. doesn’t mean he isn’t good, just means he could be better, and that says a lot since he is already damn good. i’d consider that paying him a huge contract is all, the panthers are absolute suckers for players who fall off a cliff after payday which bring me to Robbie…what a really fuging stupid idea to sign him to what they did, I’d rather have DJ for sure

DJ has been known to loaf it quite a bit. Smitty has called him out multiple times on it.

Moore was lazy yesterday. just like his missed block. he has these games, and it is why smitty called him out twice in the past and miraculously he stepped it up when smitty did so. that’s a strange thing to happen and you don’t need to do that with good players. i have always said this has been my main concern signing him. he may quit after being paid.

i saw quite a few hospital blocks yesterday for Darnold (like every game) and Brady had a hospital playcall as well it’s as if this game carries some risk

I am not celebrating anything. Cam isn’t on a team right now despite multiple teams playing with back ups. That’s multiple franchises, not just the Panthers. Personally, I consider that more validation than all the huddlers creating threads to bring back Cam combined.

Darnold may suck, but he gives us a better chance to win than PJ does, even if that’s a low chance. It’s fine if some don’t believe that based off of a Lions game and XFL games but you all will see soon enough.

Dude..my post wasn’t about the panthers The cowboys are rolling with Rush, Seahawks Geno fuging Smith, Saints probably Siemen, Jets going with THE Mike White (tho nice debut), Texans with god awful Mills, I mean even fuging Rivera is sticking with Heinecke in Washington… all these teams think their backup is better, but you know better? That’s a creepy sort of attachment…Cam is DONE, he threw it in the dirt driving NE fans mad last year. We wouldn’t be better than 4-4 with him, time to move on.

some people are seasonal ‘fans’…but it’s not just this game, when we were 3-0 there was a ton of threads and positivity it’s not new, the past 3 miserable losing seasons and it’s the same story, panthers doing ok in the beginning, there is hope, then people interested and then start their losing streak and they’re not longer ‘fans’ no body cares this team fighting tooth and nail and beat god awful team…after losing to the worst in the NFL a week prior…there is nothing to talk about. beat the Cardinals in two weeks and the patriots next week and we will see a revival, but that’s very doubtful with PJ this won’t change until this franchise wins
