  1. it’s bad…real bad. Chandler and Bell failed at blocking. this year, guys are running through untouched. metrics are worse all over the place. good news is over the last two games the oline has gotten better, but that was also patriots and falcons and running it 46 times or whatever. if you want to know if cam has anything left in the tank…it’s going to be tough to judge behind this line
  2. not really a win win, at this point? lose money that could’ve been rolled over lower draft pick and miss playoffs getting cam killed this move %100 should’ve been made after the giants loss but seeing how there is draft sucks at qb and cap money isn’t a big deal I see why you mean and have come to be ok with it i still see getting cam killed
  3. this two specific positions, yes oline in general? false
  4. first he won’t second, NO cam was brought in to sell tickets and make fans happy…results are an afterthought you play cam, fans have zero expectations yet are happy AND you can generate revenue, Tepper wins
  5. 2015 Panther oline was the best in franchise history ranking around 2, some 3 in the entire league. Remmers was the single weak link and he actually did well until the SB. Rivera’s oline was up and dow his entire career, often alternating to the 20s and then around average with two outliers in 2015 and the worst with Bell/Chandler coming in at 22-23. Cam’s worst seasons coicendently aligned with when the oline was a down year. Cam has never played behind a line this bad, ranked at 29. And that’s worrisome. Brady vs. Shula and Rivera vs. Rhule at this point and time is meeh. Cam does have superior weapons no question there. But I always thought he was good enough to not really need a Julio or Smitty etc. So long as he had a line, and 2015 confirmed this. It’s really hard to think he will have success here but we can only hope.
  6. ticket sales and unhappy fans nothing else comes close it cured all, except losing, still waiting on that
  7. is a shitter draft pick really anti cam tho? is it not valid? are you still celebrating Rivera’s moral wins vs saints third stringers when we could’ve had a franchise qb? if we somehow defy history and go to playoffs i will %100 celebrate this move but for now I don’t see how what obviously appears to be a successful PR move and dropping in the draft as anti cam least it will be entertaining and no qbs in the draft anyways I suppose
  8. yea it’ll make watching games more interesting, but honestly as you can see no one cares about winning, cam is back fans are happy and tickets will sell
  9. really curious on the contract details…surely cam didn’t just sign for 8 games, not that he had a choice if he wanted to start/play again this season
  10. What? Yes they would they are appeasing the fans and getting butts in seats and some fans are just happy cam is back, no one cares if we start winning this is a PR move, come on man # of teams to go to playoffs in 27 years with 29 ranked oline = 0
  11. revenue shot, stadium taken over, angry fans how to fix all 3…hmmm losing isn’t on that list honestly it’s a good move to address everything but losing since our fanbase is mostly cam fans i mean you even see in the thread people screaming they just want to see cam and stating winning doesn’t matter and even some proclaiming Tepper is the best now after threads of how awful he was lol but i will admit i never saw this many falling for it and not being able to see past it cam stan or not Tepper is genius
  12. all the stats? 8-1, 9-0? With the 29th ranked oline? most drops in entire NFL? that has never happened before like…ever i’m not exactly sure how you can even begin to imagine that would be possible tbh
  13. bitching we have no qb and then making a post like this, the irony
  14. herp de derp we need more pics of your fat ass in Tom Brady jerseys
  15. more awful moves by the FO my god man just let your team fail and take the lumps and draft pick 2-3 nostalgic, moral victories will cost 7-10 draft spots imma love to hear the excuses when it’s quite clear the entire team sucks and it’s not a qb plug and play deal, I’m sure there will be plenty
  16. Yea he’s going through health stuff as well. He is very knowledgeable, would be a real loss to lose him. Fun to know all these crazy fun facts he brings up. His inter FO relationship knowledge is that off the chart, and keeps me going during hard times.
  17. nah, you can’t twist legs/ankles trying to ‘tackle’ someone or blocking someone rather (no one believes macs BS) and you certainly cannot try and kick your cleats into them lol can’t do this whether it’s a ball carrier or not. Macs explanation screams bullshit. would’ve been nice is Burns stomped on him and took the penalty, %100 justified
  18. the fact the panthers have ran it a ridiculous amount the past two games really helped the pass blocking no body recovers from a concussion like Darnold had in 6 days not to mention his shoulder was probably gone not to excuse his poo play in general, but i mean finally putting up ranks above a high school oline 10 weeks into the season after Darnold has been destroyed really doesn’t help anything still bottom of the league is pass and rush block win rate… overall currently ranked 29th in the league lol. I’ve never seen worse watching the panthers since 1999 https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-week-10-offensive-line-rankings-2021 Carolina’s offensive line had some glaring weak points on paper heading into the season, and they have been exposed through the first half of the year. Taylor Moton is among the league’s better right tackles and the best-graded player on the unit, but even he isn’t having his best season. He has allowed 19 total pressures, the same number he surrendered all of last season. Cam Erving has a 56.1 overall PFF grade, and just one starter has a pass-blocking grade above 55.0.
  19. you cannot present a logical argument to an emotional question i’m not sure why people would rather finish 5-12 maybe 6-11 instead of 4-13 by signing someone like cam… look at the remaining schedule, assuming cam and this putrid team can win 2 more, i am being very generous draft pick is far more important right now and so is any money to sign cam, or any shitty qb, it is better rolled over time to stop with the moral victories that have already cost us so much, wish this FO would just face facts for once and realize we have to pay our dues during rebuild time like everyone else and stop trying to find shortcuts, we have given up enough already i am not saying purposely tank but stop spending so many resources trying to find a short cut fix…roll with the mistakes and reap really the only benefit losing has instead of throwing that away too
  20. Yes but how many were given a contract like Rhule? Perhaps it doesn’t matter, notice I said a third year AT MOST. I am not disregarding get may be gone after 2, just simply pointing to more recent college to NFL coaches. I also think Kelly and Harbaugh came into much better situations, albeit some of that they created themselves. Their situation/franchise was coaching issues, ours was literally everything under the sun cap, talent, culture etc.
  21. If this is true it’s kind of a waste doing contracts like Rhule or 5th options like Darnold and TBs contract. I get some things he doesn’t want to control but if you’re a wait and see kind of guy or no patience kind of guy, these moves make no sense. They require and basically spell out patience. But maybe he’s just disgruntled behind the scenes letting the people he hire work.
  22. let the tanking begin! wait were we tanking before? let the tanking continue!
  23. One more year. I believe if you go college for HC, the guy typically gets 3 drafts and 3 years to produce a winning season just like Chip Kelley and Jim Harbaugh. Even though they produced winning seasons within that time. Next year is make or break for Rhule, at most.
