Nah, they were trash last year. There is a reason they went out and spent all that money. The inside of the line was a turnstile and Ikky hit his sophomore slump.

50 was popping off the screen for me, especially on the highlights rewatch. I might want a jersey lol dude was man handling people out there.

I am with you. I still think if he were able to put it all together it would look good. I just don't think he is mentally strong enough. Hes got no dog in him, just a laid back Cali kid who has always been in positive situations. Not that there is anything wrong with that inherently, you can only face adversary when it presents itself. Its how you respond that matters. I think a big flag pointing to this is the fact that the biggest "adversity" his father could point to was moving from CA to Alabama.

The 2025 QB free agents, who would you sign?

He is not but on that list I can see them looking at him and thinking they can unlock some potential. -

I could see them taking a look at Wilson. Elite arm talent, experience and young. There is some potential there. -
Heres some good in the ocean of awful....

I really like everything I've seen except defensive line in general and QB play. Excited to see how the team looks over the next few games with Dalton at the helm. -
I don't know the rules but when can Wonnum, Barno and Crumedy suit up?
-
Buckle in and prepare for blast off. 300 Yard 3 TD incoming. Houston, Vegas has a problem!!
-
I want competitive games. I also think some of that score differetial changes when TOP changes and the general demenor of the team changes.

Lets go big red!

You think he's crying in Nicole Teppers lap right now?

Not going to watch any more but I will say the only thing keeping my fandom "flame" from guttering out is I think Canales is the real deal. My only hope is he can keep the locker room together and get his QB next season, but I am worried being forced to start Bryce will be the snowball that starts the avalanche in the locker room. -
Yeah this is where he lost me. I don't see a competitor. I truly believe he has the skills to make it work but the mentality is just too lax. What little he had he got beat out of him last season.

Not great. The defense was not going to pop up with Wilks, Al Holcomb has proven he is not it at D cord. We would have leaned on CMC to keep the offense running and those wheels will/are going to fall off at some point, it probably also would not have been creative. IMO Wilks would just look like the end of Riveras tenure. I like Canales, I think something can be built here. Just gotta give it to end of next season.

Weather he plays the rest of the season or not, I think they will know internally after this game if he is the guy or not. Your QB has to respond, there is enough there to not look like last year. It truly falls all on him now. If it was me : Bryce laugh after another pick and you can stay your ass on the bench, good luck on your next team.

#1 pick incoming. -
Right around the same time. This is tough, I reset every off season, because its just football and I cant control it. But after this I just......may quit. I dont live in NC anymore, dont really go back but I love this team for some reason. Just bummed.

There was an interview with Tillis posted here a while ago and he broke down how NFL defenses are all built to stop the deep pass now anyways and offenses have to be built to take what they can get, which usually means 5-10 yard passes. It's almost as if these guys are professionals and know what they are talking about.
-
They really attacked positions of need too. FO is focused!
-
So just a case of everyone else was worse. LOL. I don't even want a Greg Olsen, can I get a Kris Mangum?
-
I mean Ian Thomas has made it through what 4 coaching regimes now? He has to be doing something right. This isn't a Bersin situation, where he was the owners neighbor ( talk about meddling ) Edit : or his competition has been that bad ( didn't seem like it this year )
-
You guys can do that, but I am not judging a rookies performance with the garbage coaching staff we had last year. Football is so fine tuned, you have to be put into a position to succeed no matter how good you are. Same thing we heard about Bryce, the offensive line and our WRs. We did nothing to play to their strengths ( or really even coach IMO ). These guys were all put into a position to fail.
