  1. Should be all hands on deck with the expanded regular season. There might have been some rational years ago for an inactive roster, but in today's multi-billion dollar NFL, it is hard to justify leaving any players sitting at home on gameday.
  2. Maybe it's simply the optimism of OTAs and a new season on the horizon, but I'd like to I believe we are witnessing the start of something special for the Carolina Panthers, especially when it comes to the coaching staff and our roster of QBs.
  3. Yeah, its been pretty dead around here lately. Can't blame you for trying to liven the joint up a bit. Bring on the OTAs!
  4. As of today, Sims Top 40 QBs list and $5.00 might get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks. By the time regular season play begins, this list will be a distant memory except for some parakeet that might be using it to line the bottom of its cage.
  5. Helping every Panthers player reach the apex of their abilities is what the coaching staff is employed to do. Panthers players achieving the apex of their abilities is what every fan should hope they do. Just do it!
  6. The Panthers coaching staff owes no loyalty to Corral and could have easily sent him packing, but they didn't. If I'm Corral, I'd take that as a positive sign and make the most of the opportunity provided.
  7. Knowing Brown's playing style, I wouldn't be one bit surprised if he suffered from CTE. It would certainly help to explain his tendency towards violence.
  8. For good or bad, Bill Belichick will be remembered after the rest of us are long forgotten. If he cares about his legacy, he'll want to prove it wasn't mostly about hitching his wagon to Tom Brady.
  9. I'm happy for all the former Panthers QBs still in the NFL and wish them nothing but the best except when they're playing us. That said, I was ready to move on from all of them and couldn't be happier to have Bryce Young in our future.
  10. Food and drink. Bavarian festivals are like the biggest tailgate parties on the planet.
  11. According to the German newspaper Bild (h/t Pro Football Talk), the Chiefs will play the Chicago Bears in Frankfurt on Nov. 12 or 19 this season and oppose the Carolina Panthers in Munich next year. https://thespun.com/nfl/look-1-nfl-team-will-reportedly-play-consecutive-years-in-germany
  12. Piggly Wiggly Field AKA: The Pig Pen
  13. Rumor has it that Concrete Supply Co. will be sponsoring the stadium next season. BOA's new name: Concrete Supply Co. Field
  14. What happened last year is water under the bridge. Matt's best move now is to make the most of training camp and preseason. His efforts may generate some interest from other teams, if not the Panthers. Also, hopefully, he has learned his lesson when it comes to staying off social media.
  15. Was hoping to see a TE being picked up by the Panthers. Hopefully it isn't too late.
  16. I appreciate the optimism, but Sheesh! Could we at least wait until the team has had its first winning season under Tepper's ownership before anointing him a "major asset"? Up until about a minute ago, Dave's time as the Panthers owner has been pretty much been a disaster. I will say that David Tepper remains in the running for the "Most Improved NFL Owner of 2023". So he's got that going for him.
  17. CJ Stroud (Channeling Pat Benatar): I'm an invincible winner and you know that I was born to be... A dream maker, heartbreaker An NFL player Don't you mess around with me I'm a, dream maker, heartbreaker An NFL player, BUT-NO-TEST-TAKER!!! NO-TEST-TAKER!!! NO, NO, NO!!!!
  18. Commentator: Tonight's coverage of the 2023 NFL draft will begin with Houston on the clock and picking @ #2.
  19. Hope you are making good progress on your recovery CWG! Sending some positive vibes your way.
  20. Meh, after weeks of predictable storylines the NFL and media outlets needed some last minute drama going into draft day. Cue Levis rumors.
  21. One AFC championship appearance and it will be considered a good deal. One Super Bowl appearance and the price will appear cheap. One Super Bowl victory and it will be considered a steal.
  22. The older and fatter Wilson got the slower and less elusive he became. An important factor for those who are vertically challenged and need to move outside the pocket to see what's going on down field.
