You are assuming any of the QBs besides 1 or 2 will be worth moving up into the top ten. It will still be expensive.

Still find it weird people think we are gonna be in a position to get a QB of the future in 2024 or that all the QBs in a supposedly good draft are gonna all be worth trading up for in the eyes of the Huddle. I said it before. It will be like it is every year. Bunch of QB hype before the college season. Then all but maybe one or two are gonna be worth potential trading up and the QB needy teams won’t want to trade down. But more that likely none will be worth trading up at all in the Huddles eyes. College QB Hype>College Season Starts>Hype for QBs goes Down>None are worth getting in the first round>Maybe next year is the year>Repeat.

Watch next year everyone will be saying none of those QBs will be worth trading up. Also we will have to trade up because unless the wheel really fall off we are not getting another top 10 pick.

We will see. Not gonna disagree with you but also not gonna put a stamp on him being the top 3 QBs we’ve had. I will remain skeptical of him if he signs with us until proven wrong. If we sign him he will likely be here for 4 plus years. He isn’t gonna sign as a bridge QB. Hopefully the team can be built to survive his inevitable brain fart games he seems to have every season.

Until proven otherwise. I will continue to be skeptical of any QB we bring in from another team. If Carr is brought in fine. Hope he works out. But I won’t be surprised if he doesn’t.

He didn’t seem that elite this year.

Carr is Cousins level. Meaning he shrinks during big games and often commits terrible mistakes at the worst of times or just disappears from the game entirely. If that is what the team wants then so be it. At least we’ll make the playoffs but always get beat in the playoffs. Vikings of the NFC South.

It wouldn’t but Carr will likely want to sign with a team that will guarantee he gets the starting job. Meaning I doubt he wants to sign with a team with a first round rookie right behind him.

Hopefully Tepper shows patience and realizes this team has tried this reclamation QB stuff 3 years and in a row and has yet to work out.

I just don’t see this team making the Super Bowl with Carr. He had some really bad games in 2022 and while some of that may be on the team him throwing 3 INTS against the Steelers when the Raiders needed to win that game has me worried we will pick up a QB that can possibly get us to the playoffs but not the Super Bowl. Carr is gonna want a long term deal and I don’t feel good about giving a 3 or 4 year deal to a QB that isn’t that impressive and will need a really good team around him to be successful. Carr is more Cousins than Stafford, imo.

Will Carr want to sign with a team when he knows it won’t be long term? (Don’t worry I read your post and know you just mention Carr as an option.) Seems like Carr will want a long term deal and going to a team that wants him for 1 or 2 seasons doesn’t seem like what he wants. I think, if we sign a vet, it will be someone who won’t mind becoming the backup when we start our rookie. Carr probably doesn’t want to be a backup. I still think Tampa and Saints are more likely South teams to sign Carr because both would like to sign him long term.

Very impressed with the hires. Get the QB situation right and it could be a very interesting 2023 season.

I think Carr is gonna be a Saint or Buc after he is released.

I mean it worked the last time they won a Super Bowl. Problem was this time KC defense was trying unlike last time both the Eagles and Patriots defense decided to go home early.

Chiefs constantly ignoring their defense really has come back to bite them the last two times they have been in the Super Bowl. This game could be closer if the Chiefs D wasn't so mid.

Eagles offense is moving at will. Chiefs were saved by time. If it hadn't been close to halftime the Eagles would have scored again.

I kinda feel like we would just be the Titans. We may win 11 games each season but we will always lose to a better team in the playoffs.

Huddle has proven no matter how bad a player is he will somehow have people supporting him. The Darnold love makes no effing sense.

This coaching staff that is being built is one I think that can surprise some people and possibly over perform next season like the Giants. Then be actually contenders the next season, like the Giants may be.
