You know what would suck worst of all? If Dougie Hamilton, or really anyone we let go, wins a Cup before we do. That would be a huge slap in the face of this franchise.

I think the coaches and FO drank the koolaid a little too much in the offseason and thought they could plug and play anyone. Turns out they were wrong and I could tell before the season began, we werent deep enough. When your entire roster couldnt score in the playoffs, you need to bring in more scorers. Not get rid of a few and then bring in whoever. You got to add to what you have. Not subtract then add. You just end up being even and not better than what you were.

Quote ‘DJ needs to catch the balls when thrown to him’

Imagine playing your heart out for this poo franchise, but then you have had enough and then get criticized for showing that you have had enough? We ask the world of our players, but forget they are human and wonder why they break sometimes under the circumstances. -

This is why Wilks should not be the HC. He is just like Rivera and is inept when analyzing or anything to do with the offense. Our scheme is poo, our playcalls are poo, our coaching is poo, McAdoodoo sucks. He also contradicts himself about Moore being doubled and also needs to catch whats thrown to him. So how does he do that if he is doubled? Also, how much does it hurt a WRs confidence to not be thrown when he is open or to be doubled most of the game and then have to try to catch inaccurate balls when they are thrown to him? We need to clean house of this incompetent staff. -
The Panthers simply aren’t tough enough to win in the NFL
KillerKat replied to Cdparr7's topic in Carolina Panthers
The panthers have never been tough enough. At least not consistently. No back to back winning seasons, no Super Bowls. We have nothing to hang our hat on. We need some new blood. Someone that would make us a consistent winner. Enough of this good one year, bad the next bullshit. -
Something is wrong with our system when our goal scorers dont score like they are supposed to.

pathetic

If someone offers a player, one particularly good on the pp, along with a pick, Id take that too

If Kooch gets another shutout, you field offers for Anderson asap

Dont tell me how to post on a message board meant to share opinions.

I dont see how a new HC would want to change a good OL or ST coach. Its not like there are many schemes out there for those positions. If those areas are good, you usually want to leave them alone.

Right now we are still pretenders.

I mean the stadium is getting close to 30 now

Also that was the first shutout of any of our goalies this season. Anderson had 4 last season, Raanta with 2. Kooch has a lot more season left to equal or surpass either one.

So we should be picking the same for both the practice field and stadium field. I still like grass for the tradition. Football should be on grass. If Tepper wanted turf, he shouldve made our practice field turf. If I had my way, every stadium would be grass, even the indoor stadiums. Football wasnt born on artificial turf.

Got to love your young goalie pitching a shutout in his 2nd start of the season. Who do we trade between Anderson and Raanta when he establishes himself as starter or at least top 2?

Game 15 - Hurricanes (9-4-1) @ Avalanche (7-4-1) - 9PM
KillerKat replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
The expectation is to win the Cup, not just make the playoffs. We have been there 4 time already with similar exits. There are a few scenarios that will indeed put him on the hot seat. One, if we miss the playoffs. Another is if we get bounced the same way we have been. I think Rod has about 2 to 3 years to improve. If we make the playoffs but lose out while still playing like we should his chances of staying are good. We cant keep making it and exiting the way we have been. -

Im afraid Rod is too laid back and he needs to start holding his players accountable more often. -
Jaycee Horn weighs in on the turf debate

Am I the only one not forgetting the injury bug hitting us every other year even with grass?
