Trade him for a ham sandwich at this point

If Burns played like a top DE/OLB like he thinks he is we'd be a lot better. He should have at least 10+ sacks by this point in the season. He also gets taken out of the run game by TEs still. Our cornerstone piece is holding this defense back by a decent margin. Thank God for Luvu and D. Brown

Just gotta make sure you understand the Irony in your previous post, that's all.

Just like if a random person on the Huddle gives his hot take on a certain QB. Completely irrelevant.

I dont agree with Bryce leaving the pocket but typically a double move in the back of the endzone is not going to work/be open. It took 5 seconds for him to spin around and get open off his initial route
-
Say what you want about Bryce but the coaching decisions and play calling have been just as bad this year
-
I agree for the most part. Qbs need 2-3 years minimum to figure out what they are going to be in the NFL/out of the NFL. However, I will admit for a #1 overall pick to look this bad is pretty alarming. I think Bryce can play in the NFL but it's going to take the right coaching/players/environment to get that to happen, and Frank Reich just wasn't it.
-
Man I sure wish we drafted Mullet or Brownie #1 instead of Brice Young. Either one of those QBs would have this team over .500 and in the playoff hunt. Easily. Damn this cursed black cat franchise what will we ever do now!!!
-
Beautiful pass by Browning. Put the ball where only his WR had a chance to get it. If Bryce throws that its a pick 6 all day long
-
Was I the one to start with the comparisons or was it you and your brigade of Young haters? I was just chiming in to agree with you guys at how amazing these 2 QBs have looked so far today. I mean did you see that Browning kid completely whiff on that deep ball in the 1st quarter? At least it looked pretty and was a spiral! Much better than what Young would have done! Haha!
-
Oh forsure totally. I'm sure they'd be doing EXACTLY as good as they are right now in our offense too, right? Like instead of TJ Hockenson and Justin Jefferson we give Mullens Tommy Tremble and Thielen. I'm sure he'd be setting the NFL world on fire

Yea these guys look amazing surrounded by all pro talent. They are really lighting it up out there!

Tepper got robbed $37 million by Bryce’s parents
Mr Mojo Risin replied to Selltheteamtepper's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep I remember when Jeremy would do write ups during TC and podcasts during the regular season with players or people close to the team. Even some players/agents would visit and post occasionally. Good times. At least we got the memories -
Positive thread - 2003 Panthers memories
Mr Mojo Risin replied to Gapanthersfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Same here, I started playing football the following summer at 12/13 years old. That super bowl was the first full game I ever watched. I wouldn't say I became a Panthers fan right then and there but that game got me to start following the team and as I got older and more into football by my freshman year I was a full fledged Panthers fan and the only Panthers fan at my HS in NW Indiana. -
Which coaches are you referencing? Because Frank Reich was fired mid season just last year so there is no way you are talking about him, right?
-
We can sit here and play the what if game all day long. The people who don't like Young will come up with all sorts of scenarios where we would be successful if we just draft Stroud, if we just started Dalton, if we just brought back Jimmy Clausen we'd have so many more wins and this team would be awesome!!!! Offensive line would still be a joke and playing in the wrong scheme, WRs are a bunch of journeyman/JAGs at best. TEs are, wait who are our TEs again? And the running game that didn't show up until we hit double digit weeks in the regular season. There's a lot wrong with this offense than simply having the "wrong" QB. Not even going to touch on the coaching staff which turned into an absolute poo show. But again 99% of this board will continue to believe Bryce Young is our only problem and he's really the ONLY person holding this team back from winning the division and being a playoff caliber team. Ok lol

I'm sure it was also Bryce's fault he was fired by the Colts mid-season last year too

Bryce Young Cannot Make Basic NFL Throws
Mr Mojo Risin replied to BIGH2001's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wouldn't it be nice to have a QB coach to help you work on those things at the NFL level? One of the reasons Reich is gone is because some of the poo he said just doesn't make any sense. Why wouldn't you want to work on footwork and dropbacks when it comes to your rookie QB in the offseason? Isn't this something all QBs are supposed to work on every single day? What exactly was McCown doing his entire time here? With all these experts on the staff the plan for how to coach Bryce and the type of offense to run and the personnel required to run it hasn't made a whole lot of sense. -
Bryce Young Cannot Make Basic NFL Throws
Mr Mojo Risin replied to BIGH2001's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Young had a HOF WR in his prime with Smash and Dash in the back field and he looked as bad as Clausen I'd probably agree. However, you guys can laugh and pull up all the stats you want but Bryce hasn't entered Clausen territory yet. I remember those games vividly and if you have access to the NFL all 22 I implore you to go rewatch some of his games. The few plays Bryce has made Clausen couldn't even dream of making -

Well don't you worry I'd have to post a poo ton more of them to catch up with you -
Bryce Young Cannot Make Basic NFL Throws

Unfortunately the fandom of an NFL team usually is a reflection of the record. And the Carolina Panthers have the worst win % among all professional sports teams since 2019. You've got a few level headed people that still post here and there but for the most part this fanbase is a reflection of the team. It's unfortunate but wcyd. I still like to chime in and have my fun with them though. -
I think Bryce would have benefitted from sitting out a few more weeks after the Bears or Colts game. Almost wish he twisted an ankle or something. If the improvement was going to come this year it would have already happened. No point in continuing to throw him to the wolves with this lame duck coaching staff and we'd get an honest evaluation of our offense. Is it really all Bryce? I personally don't think so but maybe it is. Maybe Dalton comes in and gets a few more wins but I don't see it being some sort of drastic turn around either way. But yea we either get a HC that knows how to run an offense with Bryce at QB or we pick another one in '25 that's really it at this point.
