It wouldn't have any real impact on his value. Young talents at premium positions are always going to be in high demand and garner a significant market.

This is the ace in the hole that I've seen very few people mention. We always have the option of franchising him if we can't get a long-term deal worked out. He can still be traded under the tag if it comes down to it.

What’s your 2023 QB big board (including Corral)

Agreed. Lots of people are quick to point out the highly drafted QB busts but we can do similar exercises with edge rushers, OTs etc. There are no guarantees in the draft. -

If he gets a 1st round grade based on raw talent he should go. Look at what happened with Rattler. Dude went from presumed to be competing for the #1 overall pick to transferring and sucking ass at South Carolina. Look at what happened to Howell. Lost all of his weapons and accounted for virtually the entirety of his team's offense but dropped to the 5th round. If you have a good chance of going in the 1st, grab your bag. -

Richardson is intriguing as fug. Evaluations are gonna vary widely based on what teams think he can develop into. He's Josh Allen-esque in terms of raw tools. -
I honestly think the supporting cast (especially prior to the CMC trade) was honestly among the best we've ever had. This OL is pretty damn good. The biggest knock is the TE group and that's a legit knock.

1. DE 2. WR 3. TE 4. LB 5. RB 6. FS

Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns

Pay close attention to the long-term posters who have disappeared recently and the common theme between them. The folks who can't keep TB topics in the TB aren't gonna make it. -
I'm sure he could try but I'm not sure it would matter. The agreement is the agreement. JR talked tough like Snyder at first too. I wouldn't be surprised if both of them finally had enough high dollar lawyers tell them they have no leg to stand on that they relented without a fight.

It's cut and dry. 24 votes can force him to sell, period.
-
He must know the owners have the votes to force his hand, like JR previously.

It's kinda like the draft pick value chart though. It's just a general guideline. It doesn't necessarily mean you can trade guys worth a 3rd rounder for a 1st rounder two years down the road. Basically just standard accounting slights of hand. -

Used to work in Madden until they fixed that bug. -

Does perception matter? I argue no. Then again, I'm of the firm opinion that the entire accounting industry is basically just a shell game of book cooking anyway so there's that too. -

Don't hate the player, hate the game. If you were in that seat you'd be thinking self preservation too. -

It's not "gaining" anything. The value of the pick is devalued because the return is not immediate and there's the uncertainty of where the pick will fall within the round. That doesn't mean that it gains real value like a bond maturing. -

No he doesn't but very few in the history of the NFL do. He's #5 on the NFL's all-time sack leaders list for a reason. -

That's just not how grading assets in the NFL works. Not when one bad season can get your butt fired as a coach or GM Outside of a small handful of truly entrenched guys. And how are draft picks going to "appreciate"? We aren't talking about stocks or bonds here. Scott Fitterer isn't trading one of if not his absolute best roster asset for picks he might never get to make. Nor should he. -
I guarantee you the guys with size concerns (like CMC) step onto that combine scale so tanked up with water they're about to both puke and piss themselves.
