    How would that be different than letting Fitts do it? Tepper hired Fitts, along with heavy input from Matt fuging Rhule.

    Basically the only real argument I've heard for Fitts so far is that he might not be bad if we get Rhule out of the way. Sorry, that's just not enough for me. Hell, I was all for sending his ass packing with Rhule at the end of last season.

    Don't get me wrong, I think Rhule and his staff are our biggest problems by far but I haven't been blown away with Fitts' moves. I'd say better than Hurney and about on par with Gettleman. Lacks the early successes of Gettleman but also lacks the later issues driven by ego fueled dick measuring contests.

    Not to defend McAdoo, but this personnel doesn't fit his offense at all.

    The other side of that coin... Why would you risk perhaps your only shot at one of those jobs in a role where you don't actually have traditional GM powers? Flop and you may never get another chance.

    What are we basing this off of other than sheer hopium? I can't point to anything concrete but I can point to a lot of reasons to send him out the door with Rhule.

    If you don't give a GM final say on the roster then he's just a wet nurse for your college coach who has full control. No legit GM candidate is taking that offer.

    I really hope not. Send the guy you hired to be Rhule's wet nurse packing with him and get a real GM.

    Yep, they wore the tread off of Henry's tires and Tannehill is what he is - a decent QB if he has a dominant RB to hand to behind a dominant OL. Meanwhile, that once dominant OL looks like trash. Just seems like their window has closed. Everything has to align perfectly if you don't have that dude at QB.
