  1. Brees was very good on the move in his younger days. 4.7 is a solid time for a QB even in today's NFL (Rodgers ran a 4.71 and Mahomes ran a 4.8, Burrow didn't run).
  2. It's so simple. That's why there's all these old school pocket statues lighting up the league currently.
  3. Manning's immobility is a myth. No, he wasn't going to take off scrambling but his mobility within the pocket was very good.
  4. Who are all those 5'11" guys who have been hyped up and flopped?
  5. Wilson's talent is legit. He's like a bigger armed Burrow physically. Does he have it mentally? We'll see.
  6. I'm intrigued by Corral. If there's a better QB early, it's him. I think Ridder is a good backup. I just don't see him as a starter. Pickett? See Ridder. Malik is a total wildcard. If I had to bet money, I think he gets a GM fired.
  7. We'll find out next year. Definitely not writing a guy off after one year under Gase with the Jets.
  8. I'll take Sam Howell. Y'all can have the field. Spoiler alert: I'm gonna win.
  9. Those guys were drafted 20+ years ago. That's the problem. If you're relying on having to have a Brady or Manning level football mind... well, you're probably fuged.
  10. The prototype has changed greatly over the years though. No QB was knocked for lack of mobility on the '80s but those prototype pocket statues get significantly downgraded in the .modern era.
  11. Uh oh. That's how you end up with Teddy Bridgewater.
  12. Rhule is going to tank this bitch to the bottom of the ocean on his way out. Keeping him for this year will prove to be the most colossal error in the history of the franchise.
  13. Great example of what I'm talking about. Best IOL in the game. Zero playoff wins through four seasons. Colts have a roughly 55% winning percentage during that time. It's just not an impact position. At long as your IOL isn't a liability, check that box and move on but don't dump premium picks or big time cap space into it. The Buffalo Bills drafted Josh Allen with the very next draft pick. OUCH.
  14. The only argument I can make for it is if you're a team drafting in the top 10 due to a pick acquired via trade and you're a contender with IOL as one of your key needs. I'd still be trying to trade down. But if you're a team picking on the top 10 earned by sucking ass, you can't afford to take IOL in the top 10. Positional value matters. If you put a HOF center on our roster what does it do? How many wins do we add? Any?
  15. They're starting to wake up. This video pretty much echoes what I've been saying.
  16. Tepper being exposed for having deep ties to Russian oligarchs and being forced to sell the team.
  17. With your hedgefund bro running the show, it's been a whole lot of bust. David Tepper is the cruel joke inflicted upon us by the NFL. We should've known that when JR was being forced to sell to this guy that they weren't forcing the sell to a guy who was gonna clean their clocks on the field.
  18. People have forgotten how dominant Cam was. Auburn was a borderline top 25 team with no other high level NFL prospects. They won a national championship because of Cam Newton.
  19. I don't think it really matters either. Because I was never onboard with any thought of Pickett being a 1st round QB to begin with. He's basically a Kyle Trask caliber prospect IMO.
  20. Hos hands are smaller than mine and I can tell you that throwing a wet football isn't easy for me.
  21. I definitely feel a lot different about Rhule than I did about Fox and Rivera at the end. Maybe it's because we actually had success under those other guys. Maybe it's because I actually respected them as people and didn't think they were lying their asses off every time they opened their mouth. Maybe a little bit of both.
