Pro Football Network ranks the offensive lines
JawnyBlaze replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, we did. He may or may not play LT for us, but it’s indisputable we drafted a LT… -
Pro Football Network ranks the offensive lines
JawnyBlaze replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
There’s a difference between “didn’t invest” and “didn’t invest enough in my opinion”. What they said tells you they don’t even know that we drafted two OL, which undermines anything else they said if they don’t even know that. -

Didn’t address the OL? Lost all credibility right there. We drafted a couple OL, both of whom have a lot of potential -
yea you do spend a #7 on an elite NT because they make it possible for those around him to get to the QB, ala Star and Short vs Rando and Short. Brown doesn’t need stats himself if those around him are getting them.

Which Positions Have The Panthers Improved Most This Off Season
JawnyBlaze replied to KatsAzz's topic in Carolina Panthers
QB improved the most, followed by CB and then hopefully LB -
Too tough ends up losing out on players you want. Like with Norman.

We wanted two for $4m, they wanted two for $7.5m, we got him for two for $6m. Sounds about right.

Former NFL LB makes Bold Statement on Panthers Defense
JawnyBlaze replied to CarolinaLivin's topic in Carolina Panthers
If they’re not top ten, it’s time to get rid of Snow. The dline should be brutal, the lb’s should be good enough, and the secondary should be quite good now, with at least two stars in Chinn and Horn (even if Horn takes a little time to adjust) -
Also not sure if he qualifies, but Chris “Hitman” Harris was a beast. The nickname alone probably disqualifies him as a JAG.

Lol was puppys for the Atlanta game throwing shade for the Vick scandal? Probably not, but funny to think it is

Oh yea I wasn’t disputing you. Just pointing out we still would have been better off with him than without.
-
He was still better than any WR we had at that point. Sad. He still would have been our best WR each year all the way up until we drafted DJ, no matter his age.

What are your bold predictions for the upcoming season?
JawnyBlaze replied to Gipetto's topic in Carolina Panthers
My bold prediction: 11-6 record. I am very impressed with how the weaknesses of the team were addressed and the upgrade at QB is worth a few wins alone. I’m predicting 5 fewer losses.
