You can't. You could narrow down the most pro ready in a draft class but whether that player will be the best of the group in the nfl is pure luck. Ususlly that guy turns out not be the best of the class.

It tells you nothing other than the Panthers are not interested. Besides nobody can talk to him until next week. People are just freaking out because nobody has expressed interested in an oft injured and overrated qb.

Of course he needs a agent. An agent would already know his market value and where the interest in him may come from. Lamar needs to realize his situation and what he will be missing out on. He would have already have massive contract if he would have had an agent from the start. It's just not smart for a qb to think he can negotiate his own contracts. I would pass on him just for that fact alone.

He wants more than 133 mil guaranteed. Everyone knows that much. Apparently no other team wants to negotiate with him and his mom to pay him more that that.

Maybe they are learning that his past advice turned out to be right? There is some reason he is being considered for a promotion to a future role as a GM. It's not just because he's good at contract numbers.

Yes of course. He doesn't overrule his boss, he can't. He can only offer his opinion. But in the end he has to TRY to make it work but he cannot stop them from doing something stupid like you mentioned above.

He job is to tell everyone the financial impacts of each decision and offer his advice on contract structures.

It's still hard for me to believe that 3 qb's go before 9. I'm not buying the hype around these guys and neither are most GMs and coaches. I think the Raiders sign Jimmy G before the draft. Seattle and Carroll sticks with Geno because Pete does not want to develop a rookie at this stage in his career. I don't care what Pete says it's just smoke trying to get someone to trade up with them for more picks.

Did anyone ever consider that maybe no other team wants to invest in him because they do not think his asking price is worth it? I mean his own team cannot work out a deal with him and his mom so why would they want to get in on that drama? If anyone thought he was worth his asking price they would be at least talking to him and his mom. I would not touch that situation with a 10 foot pole.
