This has been too often the case on past Panthers rosters. Looks like that will not fly on the new Panthers.

It takes time for our rookie core to become seasoned vets. We really have not completed building the core either. There's 2 obvious positions still to sort out, being LT and QB. One could include MLB in there also. But it's looking better with every draft. Having to start all those rookies speak to how awful the roster was when Rhule got here. If they can pull off two more like it I like our odds of dominating the nfc south.

Given that they are still trying to make do with whatever they've managed to scrap together from two drafts and the FA scrap heap I would say that change is going to be a regular occurrence for awhile. It's called a rebuild for a reason.

He was part the plan until the draft happened. The team didn't know who was going to be available to them in the draft. I'm glad the didn't decide to pass on Marshallor Smith just because they had Moore. Now don't come at me with the QB argument because I've got nothing on that one. I cannot decipher their master plan on that one. Just when I think I know where they are going with it they throw me a knuckle ball.

I watched about a quarter of the second game, I think. Couldn't even tell you who they were playing.

I can definitely see them doing that a lot the first few games. But other teams will catch on to that quickly. Its going to be a challenge to keep Sam upright this season.

Good question! I first thought that Shi was destined for it but it didn't materialize during camp or preseason. Only General Rhule knows the answer to that.
