  1. He's pretty good a run blocking. Pass protection is serviceable until a better option presents itself. The guards however need a lot of work. They better get these rookies up to speed before they get Sam broken worse than he already is. Oh, Paradis is getting his lunch taken wat too often.
  2. I was at that game in the western end zone lower level. It was a sight to behold JStew putting Ronde's face in the dirt.
  3. I sure hope so. It's hard not to envision that happening with the options available to him. But Brady better get his head out of his ass and help him out with better plays to mask this oline. The middle of this line is a disaster right now.
  4. Nearly everyone has looked ugly the first game of the season. Don't buy or sell based on the first game.
  5. Who thought that? I've not heard the team say that one time.
  6. I forgot there was even a game on tonight.
  7. We weren't the only team that passed on him. You can play that what if game with every prospect. The cards don't always fall you way so you play the hand you're dealt. I'm not complaining about how it turned out.
  8. Got to have a rotation for the dline and they are all not going to be first round picks. I think he needs to adjust his perspective.
  9. No he didn't. He got lucky. Horn got a hand on it only to have it deflect right into Davis hands.
  10. He had two men land on him. It wasn't just Brown, Yamamoto fell on him too.
  11. Don't you put that curse on me Ricky Bobby!
  12. He actually did get a hand on it but it deflected right into Davis hands. It was just pure luck if you ask me.
  13. Honestly it's just a fluke all the way around. . Sam had no more than turned around to hand it off when he ran into the lead blocker. The timing was off all around. It's obvious that play needs more practice.
  14. Yep, he will certainly have his coaching ability tested this season.
  15. It's a work in progress. Most of these new guys have never played special teams since high school. Hopefully we see significant improvement the next game. Lord knows we are going to need it.
  16. Most definitely will have to hit his wr's when he can. But I fear he will not have time to do much more than getting rid of the ball as fast as he can until the oline gets sorted out.
  17. Speaks to the quality of who is available this time of year.
  18. I think it's more of just keeping him on a leash until their comfortable with him going "off script" so to speak. The first step is to calm him and his feet down so he can think clearly. Keep it simple for now.
  19. All the starters are holding it together. It's when they start to go down and the even greener backups come in is when the trouble begins.
  20. You realize the just about all of our special teams groupings is comprised of all new members right?
  21. Well you have to have a fall back option during the dry spells. Cause it's not going to suck itself.
  22. He will fit right in as it currently has a dose of the clap. Horn has got his work cut out for him.
  23. Yes, due to some nfl experience, bad experiences mostly but experience nonetheless. It's going to be an uphill battle his first season here. I admire Rhule for his ballsy gamble on Darnold. Very few if any would gamble their employment on a reclamation project like this without some assurance their job was safe if it doesn't pan out.
  24. That should end the matter....but it won't.
