He has no business being here. He can only do harm at this point. This isn't some random AWOL regional scout or something, it's arguably the most important employee of the franchise. He should be fired if we start off 1-4 or something. Do not give him any more rope, he'll just hang the rest of the good apples this franchise has.

I think if we find a way to come out of the weekend with either Baker or Jimmy we have a real shot at a wild card spot.

My hope is to trade down and take Ridder while stacking more picks which is badly needed. If staying at #6 it has to be for a LT. Willis and Pickett are just as big of ? marks as Ridder to me.

That would be a luxury pick. And we are no where close to using Top 10 picks on those. The pick must be LT, QB, or LB. P.S. If you would have said Drake London I would have entertained it.

I guess my mindset is Willis and Pickett are just as much of a gamble than Ridder. So why not try to pickup extra draft assets and hedge some of your risk.

What would be the mood if we traded down into late teens/early 20s, added a 2nd and 3rd, and took Ridder? I've convinced myself I can live with this idea over taking Willis/Pickett at 6.

I heard it was Saints 2 nights ago from my source. Panthers we're plan B at that point. ATL entered late which delayed things, but they are not viable trade partner. Essentially we are still Plan B, but also the first loser.

This will be a serious reality check for David Tepper. A wake up call. He put a ton of eggs in this Watson basket when he allowed Fat Boy to take Horn over Fields or Jones. He should of went with his gut, it was right. My message to David Tepper is, do not give Rhule any say over this next draft. He will only set us further back if he takes a QB now at #6. Start fresh with a new staff next year, a top 5 pick in a better QB class, and an upgrade Oline.
